The man did nothing to dispel the rumors of being a pedophile. It seemed that he flaunted it at times. He must have been a pr nightmare.
I'm not even going to mention the "dangling the baby over the balcony" incident because there is no way anyone in their right mind can even defend or justify that action.

       It annoyed me that some of his tunes were catchy enough to get stuck in my head, but I never liked him, or his music.  Yes.  I beat up the kid with the spangled glove in high school

      What I keep wondering though, is whether this is just an elaborate stunt to sell tickets on his upcoming series of London concerts.  Probably not, but I'm that cynical.

We have to keep in mind whether the perspective is that of the media or the people.  The media think things are depraved, people usually don't if they're honest.

Im with Holly, Pirate and Locket, Im sorry but one does not take them into the bed when they are a strangers.  Any kids is going to respond to bribes, which is was the king of.

I think he bought parents off with a crazy sum, which would not only cover therapy but give them a nice tidy sum, since he generally had more unfortunate one in his company.

Unfortunatly money talks sometimes despite the reason. 

Put me in the cold hearted line. Far as Im concerned he died end of story of which I wont be following.

My son was raped by a pedophile, I didnt find out till years later not because he was bribed but threatened with his life.

So its kinda of a sore subject.

Well it is good to see people so sure of his guilt. I just wouldn't want you on my jury.
For those who aren't so sure, and want to see it, CBS is having a special at 10 tonight.
Not sure how they put it together that fast, but it should be interesting.

Okay... being fair minded... would you allow someone close to you to spend the night with MJ?  No not the females... the males... only males are fun and like animals and rides.

I do not know what went on in that bed, that is true... but from his continued behavior with vulnerable persons after being accoused of a horrendous crime... he can see nothing wrong with doing it again?  Ahh... yes... we can buy our way out of looking like a monster that robs umhoods.  We may never know what, for sure happened there, but he sure looked guilty of something and then left himself open for questions again... therefore he is quilty of real stupidity and gave reason for the questioning and people beliving his actions proved something.  It is his own messed up fault.

Im sad.... The man was a musical genius. He was also very strange after about his third (maybe more) plastic surgery where  he started to change colour on purpose.I think he had a strangled abusive childhood and could only trust children not to use him and his talent, I think he was very fucked up, mentally, but I will always enjoy his music, his effect on the "world" music scene. Im not condoning what he may or maynot have done. His overall behaviour in the past 15 years has been beyond bizarre, but I will always enjoy his music..

As, one of Michael Jackson's biggest fans, I am one of the millions very saddened by his passing.
BUT, we still have the music!

Thank you for the 45 years of music, the fun, and the memories.

Amazing talent can be accompanied by horrifying vice.  It would be nice if people fit into neat little pockets of good and evil but they do not.  MJ was incredibly talented and a cultural icon.  He was most likely also a pedophile.  I can appreciate his talent while at the same time condemning his actions.  Ezra Pound was virulently anti-semitic.  He was also a great poet.  Cest la vie.
