As I reported on another thread just yesterday, I saw Michael in a booth with Elvis at the Steak and Shake.

So, either he has risen or, more likely, he followed his former father-in-law's example and faked his death too.

No one seems to believe me, but it's a fact, and it makes absolutely no difference how much I was drinking that night.

A few of My late friend Jims mutual acquaintances are pretty much glad that Jim is dead. Ironically 2 of them he did alot for.

Life is cheap. Everyone screws everyone and then we die. /snip

On the good part of news- per Jim- I had an exchange with his nephew- on the extended family and now how everything has changed and that he assume a patriarch role in his family now and to get with his cousin Danny to figure out the issues that come up. It was a pretty good banter... he wasn't aware of the 'patriarch" role- which I explained. I think there will be less tension now... and no matter what he knows where to find me- if he needs any help. I hope things go well- but based on all that I know, there is turmoil ahead. His nephew I got to know when he enclosed my porch here. So-- on my part- I must, mind my own business yet be available to help. Not to but into their affairs- but be able to figure out the nuts and bolts IF ASKED.

...tho on the bright side 3 of our mutual friends, do miss Jim, so- I guess the world if filled with all kinds. Jim could be an SOB- but he also was the best at helping when needed. He just wasn't the same after the car tumbled down a ravine. Alot of pain and bad -really bad days and 3 surgeriess with more to go.

That could be true, as I haven't heard from him via my spirit guide (as reported on the same thread that rule mentions) since he took "the weekend off" to "chat up Farah". Of course, if my guide comes back and confirms rule's story I won't be telling you lot until AFTER I get a publishing deal worth at least the $6,ooo,ooo I'm owed. I can't see any other way to get rich ... errrr ... I mean ... get my richly deserved money back out of this before everyone loses interest

well, i guess my Jackson 5 records are probably worth something now that Michael's dead however i'm not crying buckets of tears or whatnot over his death like many here. a radio station in Chicago played nothing but Michael (or Jackson 5) stuff all day long. my honest opinion - this spectacle totally reeks.

granted he changed the music world, left us some memorable songs and dance moves that were out of this world BUT to me, he was simply a person that died. i don't shed tears for someone in his celeb stature. i'm the type who is "ok another celebrity has died ...wow ...person died so young" and then i move on.

as cruel and insensitive as it may sound - i don't grieve over a celeb's death.

Long time no see! Congratulations on your upcoming nuptials.
I am not grieving for Michael Jackson, I am celebrating his life.
Michael's passing has been a time of reflecting hard on the last 40 years of my life.
I have tried so many times to explain this here.....Michael reflects a time line in my life.
Michael's music reflects my childhood to adulthood, it is like a musical memorybook.
I can tell you what was going on in my life, the past 40 years in his music.

I could never compare losing Michael Jackson or any celebrity, to grieving the loss
of someone in my life.
For me, even thinking this is ludicrous.
I have grieved in real life, and there is NO comparison.
It would be like comparing a grain of salt to a mountain.
I hope noone believes that I am grieving the loss of Michael Jackson, like a close friend or family member.
If I took the loss of any celebrity to that point, I would RUN and get therapy immediately.
One of the points, I made in my OP was that I have never cared that much about any celebrity, as I do about Michael.
There is a big difference between caring about the life of a celebrity, and
my real life and world.
As much as I adore Michael Jackson, I stopped celebrity worship when I was about 15!!! That was when I think I stopped putting posters on my wall.

If anything I will be celebrating Michael Jackson's life for a long time.

Why am I not surprised? They want a 2nd autopsy... again- not surprised.

One good thing about not being famous is one can mourn in peace.

The family should be afforded space to grieve. On that- the massive PR is ....a detriment.

I'm not trashing the guy, but I never did get it, and I still don't. Good songwriter, terrific dancer, a natural entertainer... sure, i see all these things. But the mania? It's lost on me.

Maybe it's just that it wasn't my kind of music, but I just never saw the big deal. Mostly what I saw was a tragic, vulnerable child who simply wasn't built for this kind of fame. Poor fucker. Rest in peace, man, for the first time in 40 years.

I was not a big Elvis, Princess Di, {you insert name here} fan, but I have not spent my life trying to figure out why some people like things, people or music that I don't!

The kicker for me today was hearing that Michael may not be the biological father to any of his um's!
