warning:  following will be "mooshy", and not taking the piss:

considering how much Crap MJ had to take in life, and how hard the world is now, it won't kill us to simply let him rest peacefully for a mere FIRST month of being DEAD.

(no,I don't believe once the body dies "That's all folks", sorry).

I mean let's give the poor man a lousy 30 days to "adjust", hm?

HPH, as I said before, that ship has sailed.
The ship has sailed, and the voyage began last Thursday.
I don't think the coverage has even peeked yet.

In a way not true since there are some die hard fans committing suicide over this. I find this sad.

I heard there were some fans that committed suicide over
the death of Michael Jackson.

I really hope this is an ugly urban legend, but there are many websites that
are stating that 12 of his fans committed suicide.

If this is true, why am I not finding any mainstream coverage of this?
Michael Jackson coverage is still going fairly strong, why no mention of this?

I've also come across reports in the media about Michael Jackson's fans committing suicide as a result of his death.

Obviously the mass media and paparazzi have nothing to do with this and did everything they could to prevent his deification.

And the mainstream media wouldn't want to be seen as hypocrites now, would they?

MJ might have been many things but he was one of the greatest performers of all time.

Dear TSG Subscriber:

Michael Jackson did not include his father or siblings as beneficiaries of a
family trust established seven years before his death. The pop singer's estate,
which was valued today at more than $500 million in a court filing, will be
divided between his three children, his mother Katherine, and six other
relatives, including his brother Tito's three sons. The Last Will of Michael
Joseph Jackson is here:

Speaking of videos, I was just watching some DVDs I made of 80's MTV rock videos, and I caught a few of Michael Jackson's older numbers on there - "Billy Jean", Beat It", and "Thriller." This was before he started to disfigure himself. I was almost shocked to see how what an extremely good looking guy he was. I'd really forgotten what a very handsome young man he was before his self-mutilation phase. Poor bastard.

Yes, and I also watched those very same videos, he was very handsome, and his performances seemed to me just great fun, especially the Thriller video. Now, why he decided on this surgery 'improvements' (ahem) is beyond comphension. Very Handsome, even beautiful in fact.

Now, like Mickey Rouake (spelling ???); he did the same, had these plastic interventions, and came out another grotesque, but he worked his body, steriods?????, and now is rather ....Hulkish. His "the Wrestler' is a very good film, and it fits him, now, however some of his acting seems a throwback to his 9 1/2 weeks film.

MJ put on a fine performance. Now, his cultural awareness, 'They Don't Care About US'......who is he kidding (alot of people, sadly)....he's never been one of the 'us'.; the performance is...'going through the motions' ....nothing more than medicore.

Why all this hysteria, escapes me.....if he had anything more than sheer commericialistic greed for corporate and personal sake...it certainly is not anywhere apparent. Yet these Jacksonpiles all justify his deeds, good and bad, excusing all the negatives.

If his concern was so great for the downtrodden, where is the Children's Hospital he could have built, the Trust , the foundation; where. Instead, his billions went into the Sony corporate coffers and into his excesses. Hell, does any of these Jacksonphiles even think, MJ with his wealth, and infulence could have built a Free Health Care Children's Unit....instead he preferred diddling little boys and having slumber parties with the kiddies.

They all worship a 'Neon-God' ...a media creation, by a mega giant corporation. Well, if that's what the masses want....so be it.

Making Money, you mean, there will not be a more or greater revenue generating machine as MJ for many years to come...don't forget they started it out and groomed the success over a period of years.

Now, if you mean Talent....sorry, he's merely mediocre, at best; if it wasn't for the elborate and costly display supporting him, he would not even rank next to "Howdy Dooty'.

I was watching the Early Show today and they had stuff on Michael Jackson (sorry MJ is NOT Michael Jackson but Michael JORDAN) lol.  Anyway, i was half listening and watching as they toured Neverland etc, but what made me stop what i was doing and watch was when they showed excerpts of his rehearsals for his upcoming tour.  In all in all, he is mesmorizing with his incorporation of moving, singing, the songs and presence when on stage.  THAT to me is what Michael Jackson was to the world, he was moments in time where people were memorized by him, people were filled with joy and happiness seeing him on stage or listening to a song of his or watching a video.  He brought laughter to millions when they attempted to learn to dance like him and pride and esteem when people accomplished a move etc.

Was he god -- nope, was he Pope John Paul, II etc.  No, he wasn't.  what he was, was a Man who brought his own brand of giving to people millions of people.  And VERY FEW PEOPLE in the world are CAPABLE of such success. Yes, he was human, and no, i have no clue if he was guilty of the bad stuff - no one does, most people only have media hype to make a determination by, but he has achieved in his life something i would say less than .1% of people in a span of a persons life is capable of achieving -- millions of people mourning him because he died -- and no they may have never MET him, but he did somehow touch their lives where they fully believe he will be missed by them enough to give tribute to him based on something positive he brought to their lives. There is so much negative in this world, is it really surprising that someone who has the ability to bring joy to people by entertaining them as he had would be mourned by millions of people?

I was watching old videos of his Beat It and my favorite song of his -- the way you make me feel, and afterwards i realized that i was sitting here with a smile on my lips that wasn't there before when i came in from my day.

Where I come from it stands for both. To distiguish between them you simply say Jordan or Jackson.

I was just watching a video of him, he had a suit and hat. Looked like Al Capone out to do a hit. Strolling along cool. Til you realize he is moving in the wrong direction. Over the last week I been listening to his albums and found plenty of songs I forgot he made. His music changed with the times instead of just doing one genre his whole career.

barelynangel, glad to hear from another Michael Jackson fan.
There seem to be a lot around here!
I just watched the memorial service for Michael Jackson.
I thought it was done it good taste and a wonderful tribute to the King of Pop.

I watched it as well and it was very moving overall and so sad when his daughter broke down and when Marlon broke down after making a final request of Michael. There were a couple of over the top moments with a couple of speakers, but overall it was a beautiful goodbye.
