*carefully tiptoes past the actual, substantive discussion about issues Gorean, & about which this demon has darn little interest or opinion*
I have a bit of a fetish for rational argumentation, & in particular for the avoidance of ad hom; I think ad hom makes its users look abusive & moronic, but that's just me . . . .. &, ya know, the more so, the more so, that &: two wrongs don't make things correct; being 'just as bad as' is equally ugly; & fallacious reasoning is fallacious reasoning is fallacious reasoning, no matter how it's used . . . .
I freaking love this about online fora: it makes words into concrete, renders them visible, ineradicable, contributes to transparency & accountability. Once it's out there the poster is stuck with it . .. . . & for those of us with a decent memory, it makes confirming those memories a relatively simple thing. I took a coupla minutes (hint: use the 'Find' function, lol) & went looking for the following (I stripped out the irrelevancies.):

I kinda feel sorry for all those young people who denigrate aging & those older than themselves, simply on the basis of aging; given that if one is lucky enough to survive that long, age happens -- wrinkles, grey pubes, all that. Those who engage in this paint themselves into a corner ultimately, or they change their minds -- the choice ultimately becomes between embracing the inevitable aging, or increasingly hating the grey & wrinkled self that one becomes. & that's truly sad, those I've known who steer this path have ended up being tragic figures, whether they're world-famous celebrities or people much closer to my heart . . . . . . & age-ism & attractiveness bias, from either direction, is as unsavory as all the other repellent -isms . . . . . In my not-so-humble . . . . . (LOL, & how revolutionary & rebellious is it to worship youth in a youth-obsessed culture, to denigrate aging in a society that despises aging? I decided in my youth to embrace aging in part because that seemed to me to actually be an insurrectionist policy to hold, lol . . .. . .)

So, the impression I'd take from your username, whether you like it or not, is that you are Belittled, ie, unimportant . . . . Or at least you seem to want it that way . . . . I'm a writer in part because I'm a bit of a vocabulary fetishist; words matter, to me . ...
Oh, & I will incidentally address the OP, for the benefit of the dozens of others who may read my words: if I find some set of beliefs offensive, ignorant, or whatever, I generally have zero interest in listening to exposition about those beliefs. I got my fill of that in my youth with the various Christians who would happily go on & on & on, validating & elucidating their beliefs at great length. I have better uses for my time, like being amused at the highjacking highjinks in response to posts that can be perceived as trollish, lol . . . .
Ah. Final note. The banter of the other posters entertained me. I'm gonna make use of that lovely 'Hide' feature, tho' I suspect that it will be unnecessary; this is a tough crowd for the disrespectful & the trollishly inclined, lol, & those who display that kind of inclination don't last long here . . . . . I personally don't get any kicks out of provoking individuals who identify as dominant & / or sadistic, but I find those who do generate all kinds of funny replies . . . . . . & I posted this to edify those I know will find this post useful & / or entertaining.
