Of course facts can be used in conjunction with innuendo, distortions and lies in order to distort the truth,

Do Treasure and I resort to such things? Not intentionally, no. Just the opposite. In fact, I find my greatest enjoyment in debunking and in pointing out others failure to separate out fact from supposition.

If you believe otherwise, then perhaps it is that we are challenging some of your assumptions, and this makes you uncomfortable. Commonly, people in such a position attack whoever is upsetting their beliefs in order to return to equilibrium.

Palin, on the other hand, is a class act - something liberals can only dream of. Another reason why they hate her so much - she can hold her head high in the midst of terrible attacks and vicious allegations. As could Reagan and Bush.

You may think you're "in the light", but if you're on the left, you are on the opposite side of the 'light'. Liberalism is a dark world view, and one filled with negativity and bitterness. All somebody has to do is mention the word 'hope' and you libs come a running. That's because you live in a hopeless state most of the time.

As to people who say that there are 'extremes' on both sides, an honest look at the vile and hate-filled stuff coming from the left (and from the leaders, not the rank and file), proves otherwise. I'm not saying that there isn't the occasional right wing extreme, but they do not come from the leadership, but the fringes. The left wing IS the fringe. That's why liberals have to run as conservatives (or "moderates" if you will) to get elected - if they ran as liberals they would rarely, if ever, win.
