My fucking bastard from curry just took the piss...

I came home in between my shifts as I made the mistake to feel sorry for him (as he is outside since thursday late evening and I would not get home until tomorrow (sunday) evening if I don't pop home in between my 3 shifts)...and what happened? He just went inside to eat for 5 minutes and instead of having a rest to nap (as I expected) he just went right out again...so basically he was just glad to fill his tummy and off he goes again...fine..won't feel sorry for him the next time...

That reminds me of the habbit of mine (not sure which one does it) who keeps pulling out the horns from my snail (I have a tape dispenser in form of a snail) and fairly often i found that one or both of such horns are pulled out and lieing somewhere else...now...I am quite confident that it is not me who does that during sleeping or so...

What can i say? cats love anything plastic especially mine....plastic shower curtain, plastic headset, plastic bags...

They also love to dig up my carpet and pull it to threads to the point i see the floor underneath. I really love my cats, just wish i could figure out how to curb some of their behavior.

Digging up carpet is a claw grooming behavior, so I've been told, try getting a new scratching post.

indeed...because those snail horns are bendable plastic...lovely to chew on by them (though thankfully I can't really see chewing signs on it...however, they are often pulled out...). Am accusing my girl on doing that stuff [8|]

nail it down? (the carpet, not the cat). Perhaps a double sided tape if the carpet is light enough. Once my cat started to claw on something, there was no stopping her. She would always go back to that area. If possible, maybe move a piece of furniture on that area. If all else fails, go to a pet shop for a spray scent that is supposed to keep cats away.

I've found that I can prevent the Girls from clawing the carpet by not shutting the doors.

winterlight -> RE: For those owned by cats... (7/26/2009 1:25:37 AM)

They do it at a doorway when the door is closed. They also do it when its the edge of the carpet from one room to another (no door there). They have 4 scratching posts. Two are upstairs and two are downstairs.

Gonna have to spray...

We are remodeling our house from top to bottom and have put up new walls. This of course (in cat language) means time to scratch the new walls, with the new paint and watch the humans jump up and run after us. Im almost dreading the new flooring.
