Yeah, but you don't always consciously recognize what the reasons are, because they're often vibrating at a frequency too low or too high for the human mind to hear. Only the heart can hear it. I've long since given up trying to explain what makes someone "click" for me; I've finally come to accept that I'll never know for sure, and that it really doesn't matter. If it's there, it's there, and if it ain't there it ain't never gonna be there. I don't care what else is there; if the click isn't happening, nothing else is happening either. I don't care how much i like someone, i don't care how beautiful she is, I don't care how wonderful a person she is, if the chemistry isn't right, we can never be happy together.
I've found "sexy" in so many different kinds of women, I don't think i could even begin to list the characteristics that make it up. Big women, small women, short women, tall women, fat women, skinny women, young women, old women, loud women, quiet women, outgoing women, shy women, artistic women, scientific women, athletic women, studious women, red women, blue women... you name it, if it's a type of woman, I've probably found it sexy at some point in my life. The only thing I can think of that is always there, every time, is a relatively quick and agile mind, a mind that's typically one step ahead of whatever's happening around her. It can express itself as an analytical intelligence, or an artistic creativity, or a passionate eloquence, or any number of other things; but there has to be something about the way she thinks about something in her world that makes me feel a sense of amazement whenever she does whatever it is she does. Almost everything else is on a case-by-case basis, but for some reason, that kind of intelligence is always present when i find a woman sexy. And I'd say most of the time, any woman I meet who has that kind of mind is probably going to seem sexy to me, regardless of her other qualities or lack thereof.

Nice - Ty! You know this helps me; it helps me learn about myself. Like you said there might be something we do not recognize that makes us click w/others - we just accept it and "click". This something is not magic nor is it beyond comprehension. If we keep this going it will be these traits, qualities, attributes, 'actions' or characteristics. I do believe it is almost that simple. Personally I believe understanding what it is that attracts me to others is beneficial.
Thinking more than a play partner I do not find love in the heart. I find it in the mind, then our bodies follow. Obviously this is something I must earn the right to which is another part I enjoy. Sometimes I make bad decisions, sometimes I fail, I've had my heart broken, been hurt and hurt others. I enjoy looking for what makes me tick. I seek to question myself on many levels so I can learn and grow. This understanding can help me motivate myself and push harder. Although not always I do value the input from others.. I do not see this as a mystical question by any stretch. It is a personal question that we each can answer.
