Yes, of course... everybody has to start somewhere.  But those that state, "I'm new... blah, blah, blah" is not being fake; it's those that state, for example, they are uber experienced, have owned/trained slaves, etc. when they haven't that are the fakes.

Let me clarify... the ones that send the, "On your knees, bitch... I'm your Master and you will obey me" type emails are not interested learning, let alone BDSM.  They're interested in getting laid and foolishly think subs/slaves will just submit to anyone.  They're not Doms... they're HNGs.  But since they state they're Doms/Masters, that makes them "fake" Doms/Masters.  Their ignorance is merely what gives them away. Does that better clarify?

Status: offline 		I have to put my 2 cents, just because I am in one of those moods. When I was very young, yes eons ago, and learning about the craft, it would never occurred to me to be mouthy and rude to people who have had more experience then me. I would not have come off with the all knowing attitude. Other's did, and being the observer, I noticed they were not taken seriously. Maybe this is different because of BDSM, or just a different era.

One thing i learned quickly in BDSM, how I present myself is a reflection of Sir. I would not want to present myself as a loud mouth, meaningless spectical. Now at times I have, and been called on it, but I never argued for my limitations. Instead i apologize. I must be really old, and times have changed, however I will remain who i am gracefully

You still can't post where you allege these allegations were made... so c'mon, post my EXACT words that support your allegation that I:
 
1. Favor "kicking someone when they're down"
2. Am "mocking minorities"
 
Do it, if it's so obvious... or stop lying.  If you misread/misunderstood something, then say so... but don't allege I stated something I didn't.

Well in over 40 years in bdsm I still can count on 2 hands the collars slipped around a pretty neck, so you see just how important claiming one for my own is and with my wife Diane we have operated training schools here at the circle c,, My question can you call your self a Master if you don't own a slave and can you question the validly of a person if you don't know a fucking thing about them..the answer is NO, so you are doing your self a disservice by stating so..my philosphy life is too let be and let those be what they think they are..Bounty

Nope.....

Let ME clarify.....there is no weal twue way...no right or wrong way. The type of domination you practice with your submissive would in all likelihood land my bony knee in your testicles. The type of submission i give to my husband would have you rolling your eyes (once your balls healed)

There are some submissives that desire the "on your knees, bitch" approach. Are they fake? Is the Dom who gives them the approach they desire, and that also works for him, a fake? I would say not, based on that scenerio.
It takes all kinds of Doms and submissives, Masters and slaves, to make a BDSM community. Some you connect with and some you do not. But it is up to no one, you, me or anyone else, to call another a fake.

OOF... I don't know... that one's been kicked around for far too long, and is probably another thread on its own.  My immediate thought is, yes... I mean, is a ship not a ship, just because it's not in the water?  That's how I think of it, anyway.

Status: offline 		I completely agree with this statement.  I Master is a Master even if he does not have a sub or slave.    As was said a ship is still a ship.......... 

The reason that this question is kicked around so much is, in my opinion, becasue there are so many here especially but in the lifestyle in general that are wanna bes and fakes.  They give those that are true and real a bad image. 

It is however a legitimate question and one that I think most in the lifestyle will agree is true as I stated.
