Guess what kids, I'm irritated again.

You know I love the scene or I would not be here. But one thing a lot of people forget around here (in my town specifically) is sensuality. So I'm gonna bitch about it. Sensuality isn't always sex.

So when will someone remember that sensuality, can also involve pain? dont tell me it cant I *know* it can. I agree strongly with this. I think it's hard to achieve in casual play, though, and not just for the sub. I was in a situation where I wanted to be sensual with a sub and she basically fought it off. She just wanted to be beaten rhythmically so she could enter subspace. To get what you're talking about, there probably needs to be some "sensuous connection" between the people outside the context of the scene itself, so they are open to being sensual with each other.

You are right on that Red, I can see how the intamacy of being sensual can sacre the meet and beat crowd. Not that meet and beat is a bad thing, I quite enjoy it when done safely

Here are some of my most memorable sensual experiences:

Many things are comparative when it comes to skin and the body. How sharp a sting feels is measured against how tenderly sensitized the skin has been brought to be. Topic at hand, do you feel a deeper connection is pulled from an s-person, when they are given over to sensual torments? Say I as a woman, if the above mentioned situation were to occur, i know I would feel a deeper emotional release, on top of said physical reactions. At that point its not about anyone watching, its about me and the Other. I dont care if we are infront of thousands of people, I wont hear, or sense anyone but the person infront of me. so by that theroy alone, wouldent one think, that it would establish a greater connection between the two people involved?

Sensuality is high on my list of things I enjoy. I teach a class called

Theres something to be said about a man or woman who is so finely intuned with their partner, that they can pull more then one reaction/emotion out of them, besides the reactions to pain.
