Status: offline 		I doubt that I'll ever play casually in public. To be honest, I doubt that I'll play in public. I'm glad my Sir doesn't require it as one of two things would occur.......

I've just started to feel better about my body (Sir has managed to beat that out of me). I don't feel the need to have my freshly restored confidence shaken by my fear of comments (either real or perceived) regarding my body or surgery scars.

Although we hear about acceptance of body types, etc., I've had conversations with folks who attend play parties. These are some of the same people who started off preaching "acceptance". I've heard rude comments about body type, weight, appendages. I'm sure it's not that way everywhere, but I won't be playing in public in my hometown.

We do play in private with friends in a comfortable setting. Not the same as public though as it's invitation only.

Its not the play that I am opposed to or mixed on. Its the paying with someone without an emotional connection. That seems to be a big issue that I wasnt even aware of til I dealt with the after affects of play.

Status: offline 		i love to watch people engage in casual public play, but i can't imagine doing it myself. i like an emotional  connection with the person topping me, and i consider play to be a very intimate thing.

There are times i wish it were different, like when i feel myself craving a sound thrashing to take off the edge, and have nobody to administer such whipping. It would be great if i could just hop over to the dungeon, and get my maso on! But alas, i'm just not wired that way.

Status: offline 		Now I assume you mean in a dungeon or a play party or other play sanctioned area's and those I love, but I am not allowed to play casually since I have a partner.


I loved it because you could play with a wide variety of people and not owe any one anything more than a thank you when done, plus playing in public with strangers is always safer to me than playing privately with strangers, which I did as well.

Depends how far the "playing" goes. ( I dislike the word playing..I don't play).
I don't stop controlling her because we go outside. I won't do anything in a busy street, because I don't want to bother people with my personal life and shock them.
In parking lots, empty streets or a forest..I have no problem doing all I wish. And at night..I have no problems at all.....not so busy outside anyway.

guess you meant other public play..like a demo??
neah...I would feel cheap....cheaper then I already am. :P

it took me 6 years to be able to get comfortable sleeping naked next to my ex husband.  six YEARS.  i know, its terrible, and its mostly just my stupid fears...

....oh yeah and the first 18 years of my life being called ugly.  never *have* quite gotten over that.

(i'm slowly getting better now.  very slowly.  i'll be 46 in less than a month.)

Status: offline 		That is a major reason I do not allow touching of the jiggly bits during play at parties.  I don't want it to be sexual.  I don't want it to be stimulating enough to make me want more.  I require a connection for their to be sex with any partner and that connection is always relationship driven.
I rarely reach subspace in public play and without that there is no potential for drop.
Give me a drink of orange juice and pop a chocolate candy in my mouth and I am good too go,  although a bit antsy and in need of a run.
Hard times.

I thought the "no penetration" thing would make casual play safer emotionally. However, I have discovered that I experience a connection and then drop regardless.

Status: offline 		Not Interested.  Not a fan of exposing the intimate details of our relationship to strangers.  And......I don't view it as "play" whether it's public or private.  To me, that term puts it on the same level as golf or tennis.  Like it's a hobby.
