Welcome to the internet.  What do you do about rude people?  Well, you could do what I just did with the rude " you dirty slut turn on your cam, get on your knees, contact me and be prepared to act like the slut you are" email I open 5 minutes ago....block sender, delete message and get on with my day.

People can be rude.  People on the internet can be even worse because they're anonymous.  Life goes on...trust me[;)]

Most of your advice as not to take a nasty comment to serious and personal is very good and really who wants to be with a mean person anyway, but pointing out insulting behavior patterns and having a general discussion about it can be helpful , in particular newcomer can feel that they are not alone against the “ugly”.

Another thing to consider.........you can either allow yourself to be insulted or not. Most of the time, I prefer to not allow it.

That can be really problematic sometimes. Imagine if this sort of response is all you're getting - if you get no positive feedback, and nothing but negative bitching, eventually it starts to wear on one's mental health.


If the only responses you are getting are negative, then maybe the problem is not with the people responding.

if she is local to you, then ask her when you go to a munch.  Who knows, if she is local to you then she probably had a pmt day!  There is no reason for rude behaviour, even online.   

If she's zillions of miles away, then really Sir, why don't you just wash your hands and move on. 

she probably had one of those sexy profile pictures which men masturbate over when they log on.  If that is the situation, you have saved yourself being tied up in knots over some one who probably isn't real anyway.

Thanks for asking but no she's not from around here but it's not about that, in fact I think it’s better to find out if someone has 35 days pre-menstrual tension in a month before the first date.
