Okay, the challenge is on, party is at Merc's place! Leonidas and I will both put up a $500 bond for charity prior to the event so that even if one of us backs out, a charity wins! Basic rule, anyone who causes drama at the party will be thrown out. Two duels, one very public, the other will be afterwards in private if we are not fast friends by then. As suggested by Merc, three out of three with quarter staffs over a pool of water actually sounds fun, plenty of potential for injury but great fun for all involved. Loser serves as "bug bait" and probably will be "forced" to sell their services bringing food and drinks for more charity for an hour or two. If we still have any bloodlust left after that, its LA, I am sure we can find a place to work out any remaining testosterone poisoning. Event is sometime in September or October. September is Folsom Fair in SF and the whole world will be at that as well as the big Master/Slave conference in DC so we are going to have to work out dates, plus I think Merc has a life. How the details are going to work I am still figuring out, things like tickets, movie rights, mocking rights, etc. how we vet people, etc.

Shit. How about mid-August? Anytime from, say, the 5th through about the 15th? I swear to god, the fact that I'm just going to happen to be in LA those weeks has nothing to do with it. Honest. I would never be so selfish. I'm just concerned that, I dunno, one of you might get run over by a steamboat or hit by a meteor and we'll never know how it would have turned out. Sooner is much better. Sometime around the end of next week would be perfect. Kthnx.
