If you had to use current labels for me, I would be a Deist, Taoist, Pagan who believes all religions are a different expression of the divinity of mankind.

I am not a religion, I am spiritual, I find no need to have to identify with any named organized religion so people can feel comfortable celebrating or chastising My orientation.

Occultist, background is chaos magic but I'm moving away from that somewhat.  Maybe five years or so, not quite sure.

I just sort of hope for the best. Do what you think is right to the best of your abilities and trust that if there is an afterlife that that is enough. How about yourself fadedshadow?

starbuck, i would consider myself to be a non-religious theist. i believe in a higher power but i believe that i, nor any humans, could truly perceive what that higher power is. but i do feel organized religion is evil.

I'm Jewish.

I was born Jewish by heritage but didn't really start attending synagogue until I was in my thirties.  After my separation, I became more active while in my mid-forties.

I'm a little surprised. I figured there would be more atheists here. You know, like me.

Most religions are simply a form of de-education, you’d be better of shoving your brain in a food blender.

Ran by cynical people, they have sinister intent to achieve a nasty world view that is discriminatory at best.

Furthermore: Christian BDSM? What on earth is that all about? I love pain and suffering but I want to go to heaven where there is none??? I just knew I should have read a book about this

Spiritual, but not religious, (I have no need for the 'club' and it's leader). Mostly nature based, but encompasing some aspects of other beliefs from time to time, aspects I find particularly wise and cannot fault and believe me, I seek the fault before I accept the truth. On the whole, I have a belief in humanity and what a human is capable of, stripped of the shite we hang onto through concepts created by those who abuse.

I am atheist and have been for over 10 years. It is self-evident any supernatural being is beyond human comprehension, as you implied.  Religion is nothing more than hopeful daydreaming and wishful speculation when we assign 'human' attributes to religious beliefs.
