MMagic -> Your Fav Fictional Dom/Domme (7/28/2009 7:49:11 PM)

I'm a huge movie buff and since stepping into the world of BDSM and noticing my love of films with BDSM-esque scenes and characters, situations, I thought I'd share some of mine and hopefully learn about some new films I have yet to see from some of you.  And Secretary doesn't count before you go listing it, lol. So here are a few of mine:
**MAY BE SPOILERS SORRY**

The Devil Wears Prada

Miranda is a Domme!  I know what you're sayin...no.  But one scene makes her Domme..where she calls Andie, Emily and Andie corrects her, saying it's Andrea, but everyone calls me Andie.  She (Miranda) looks at her, gives her an irritated but fake smile,  finishes her thought then sends her on her way..BUT not before calling her back..and calling her Emily, pointedly and looking over her outfit with complete disdain before dismissing her again, and uses her catch phrase 'That's all'.  There are several other scenes in this movie like this, LOVE this movie. Looking at this through my rose colored sub glasses I just DIED laughing.

True Blood

Yes this may seem obvious to some, but not to others.  Bill and Sookie...well I didn't see them as sub and Dom until one episode where she finds him clawing his way out of the ground in the cemetary and he pulls her down to the ground with him and takes her right there. No objections from her.  I know some non-sub women that would have been saying Ugh you need to wash that cemetary dirt off of you, and did you just rip my dress?!  No, Sookie made no objection and like a lot of us subs here...she loved every minute.

Purple Rain

Prince a Dom? Well after some reading about his preference in females today, I think he just might be for real. HOWEVER, more than a few scenes in PR have that BDSM tinge in them.  Paricularly the scene where he catches Apollonia with Morris, and orders her on the back of his motorcycle, and drives her off to a secluded location.  Once there she tries to cover her lacy little cami with her cape to which he says "Nuh uh", pulls it open again and gives her the most steamy dominating kiss...HAWT. Not hot was the slapping 3 min later...unless you're into that sort of thing..like a lot of us are...hmmmm. Bonus points for this movie are the lyrics to Sex Shooter AND more bonus points to whomever can find me a picture of the collar she wore during the Darling Nikki scene (or if someone knows of one comparable-silver collar with chains that attach to bracelets on each wrists, loosely-need to look stylish in public, only Sir and I need know the REAL reason I'm wearing them). I've been bugging sir about it ALL DAY. I want that collar AND the black dress she wore. HOT!!

Grindhouse:Planet Terror

Elrey and the way he talks to Rose McGowen's character when he's attaching the gun to her leg and she's whining about her leg.  "I need you to become who you were born to be..." and how he looks at her and says "Now stand up baby.."  I don't know about other subs out there but I get these kind of loving and supporting words ONLY from Sir and THEN, just like her I can do what I need to do.

Vin Diesel in very movie he's ever been in, lol!  Hey what can you say a Dom is a Dom is a Dom and sometimes he's named Dom.

I have a few more of these but Walmart calls and I'm anxious to hear what some of you share. Who's your fav fictional Dom/Domme in a movie, video, tv show?

-Mag

Angelina Jolie was a Domme in one scene of "Mr. and Mrs. Smith" that was pretty hot.

lronitulstahp -> RE: Your Fav Fictional Dom/Domme (7/28/2009 8:11:57 PM)

Jamie Fraser -" Outlander" by Diana Galbadon
When he beats Claire with the strap....*sigh* i melted.

Clayton Westmoreland -"Whitney, My Love" by Judith McNaught
Smoldering, forceful and brooding....perfect Domly ways.

Arthur Fonzerelli- Happy Days
He always kept his chicks in check, wore leather, and had a bad assed motorcycle. i sooooo wanted him to get to 3rd base underneath my poodle skirt.

AND THE DOM TO BEAT ALL DOMS.......
Mr. Darcy [sm=hearts.gif]- Pride and Prejudice....need i say more??????

DarkSteven -> RE: Your Fav Fictional Dom/Domme (7/28/2009 9:22:47 PM)

George Bailey in It's a Wonderful Life.  He gave of himself to stop the bank from failing, and genuinely cared about everyone in his town.  And made sure that they ended up like he wanted them to.

Wolverine in the X-men movies.

And of course... Indiana Jones.

Well, I don't know about all time favorite. I don't think my mental inventory is that sharp. But one that's in my head recently is Bart Mancuso from Hunt for Red October. Understated and quiet yet he runs his boat with total discipline. He's sensitive to those under him and accordingly tends to maximize his results from them. He doesn't need to talk loud for you to know he's in charge.

All of these get my vote. I will add:

Captain Sharpe - from the Bernard Cornwell historical fiction series.

more like a service top or switch than Dom...
lyrics from the song "The Continental", 1992

...I could be a slave when it comes down 2 U (Slave)
I'll do any and everything U want me 2 do
U know why? (Why?)
Cuz I want U 2 have fun
So how U wanna be done?

I'd say Anthony Hopkins is a fav Dom of mine. Just about anything he's in he is in charge, whether blatantly or subtly.

lovingpet -> RE: Your Fav Fictional Dom/Domme (7/29/2009 10:37:14 AM)

The Phantom in Phantom of the Opera. Okay so he is a horrid example of a dominant in real time (smashes SSC, RACK, whathaveyou), but the passion, lust, and utter control.... OH MY!!!!!!! Did it just get hot in here???????

Oh, and Christine did not appreciate him properly, imo.

Riddick in Pitch Black .... I think I get him as a free one ... as long as I bring him home for Sir afterwards *grins*

I agree...Switch may be more appropriate..and as for whomever said Fonzie..oh h*&^% yeah, lol.  That's the only reason I use to watch Happy Days.  And when he'd snap his fingers and the girls would come running. I wanted to run to him too. ;)

DavanKael -> RE: Your Fav Fictional Dom/Domme (7/29/2009 11:14:13 PM)

Mickey Rourke in "9 1/2 Weeks"
James Spader in "Secretary"

I love that flawed, boyish vulnerability within a male who can take charge and ultimately 'mans up'.
This seems rare in real life, ime, but is well-represented in these characters.
  Davan

<points to where it says Secretary doesn't count> -2 pts from the board for Davan!...Sorry I've had too much green tea and sleep. I should be in bed, but I am glowing in the dark and floating above the bed so why not post.

Saezure -> RE: Your Fav Fictional Dom/Domme (7/30/2009 1:11:15 AM)

Probably because u were told to be in bed by a certain time....

Eivarden -> RE: Your Fav Fictional Dom/Domme (7/30/2009 4:30:50 AM)

I've never liked fictional Dommes.

It's one of the main reasons It's taken so long for me to get into BDSM.
Most of the Dommes in fiction, or even the Pros, seem to corny.

PeonForHer -> RE: Your Fav Fictional Dom/Domme (7/30/2009 4:38:52 AM)

Does Jennifer Connelly in The Hulk work for anyone else as a Domme?  The entire US army can't stop the Hulk, but he melts and shrinks when he sees her, and her alone . . .

Nah.  Maybe not.  Probably just that I fancy Jennifer Connelly.
