The Phantom in Phantom of the Opera. Okay so he is a horrid example of a dominant in real time (smashes SSC, RACK, whathaveyou), but the passion, lust, and utter control.... OH MY!!!!!!! Did it just get hot in here???????

Oh, and Christine did not appreciate him properly, imo.

*cracks up* he was a clear illustration of one person's will gone way wrong! however there was something creepy cool about him as well. i did laugh a lot. [;)]

my choice is going to be keanu reeves in the matrix series. his attire was bad ass. i loved his arrogance and presence. plus the contrast in his demeanor with the enemy and trinity was nice. i appreciated the bits of humanity he displayed as well.

The alpha of the alpha males. The man who melts any woman at 200 yards. Handles them nonchalant with the left hand and saves the world with his right. Kills 10 baddies in a minute and just makes sure his tie is on straight. James Bond a.k.a. Sean Connery. Being voted the sexiest man alive at the age of 72 must count for something.

Jamie Fraser -" Outlander" by Diana Galbadon
When he beats Claire with the strap....*sigh* i melted.

That is the very first thing I thought of too!!!  I love Jamie Fraser.  He is a capital M Mayun!

Clayton Westmoreland -"Whitney, My Love" by Judith McNaught
Smoldering, forceful and brooding....perfect Domly ways.

All those Scottish lairds were seriously Domly... Karen Marie Moning's Highlander series and Julie Garwood...  every last one of them is swoony.

Ohhh gosh... these three women have done more to give Scottish men a lot of American woman tail than anyone else in the world.

Tulip and I are going to Scotland when I come back.

Yes we are!

As for the Phantom - couldn't stand him.  He's a sociopath.

When you add doctor who, you have to tell which Doctor, unless you liked them all. Number, please!

Ron

Well that brought back a lot of bad memories. :/ Thank you!

Ok, I'll add one. Alan Rickman in Closet Land. I like cerberal, skeletal sadists with voices that melt butter.

MasterSlaveLA -> RE: Your Fav Fictional Dom/Domme (10/20/2009 6:54:44 PM)

Lois Griffin of Family Guy

HisBestGirl -> RE: Your Fav Fictional Dom/Domme (10/22/2009 2:15:02 AM)

Totally agree about Phantom of the Opera. Who doesn't love a dark, tortured soul? And if he looks like Gerard Butler, so much the better!

Re: True Blood- I much prefer to think of Eric as a dom. He has such a commanding presence and he can be so cold and heartless and damn delicious.

Funny stuff.
I have a friend who says that he would be Bond out of all the fictional characters using pretty much the same arguments.

Thomas Crown is a pretty good counter.

Please. Tessa owned him.

ETA: now I'm cracking myself up imagining Duncan MacLeod of the clan MacLeod as the ultimate pain slut.

I can't believe no one has uttered King Jareth from the Labyrinth!
Damn that Sarah has willpower. I'd have been like, "OKAY!!!" [:)][:)][:)][:)][:)]

Ok so my all time favorite has to be Hugh Jackman..just pick a movie..any movie...this man just oozes dominance and manhood in almost any role he takes on.

And then there are the runners up...
Pierce Brosnan in Thomas Crowne Affair
James Dean in Rebel Without A Cause
Johnny Depp as Dillinger in Public Enemies

i loved pierce back in his r.s. days. but the thomas crowne affair had me lusting. though i didn't get a dominant vibe.

i did enjoy the swagger that brad pitt and george clooney had in ocean's eleven. i know it has to do with their intelligence and cockiness. although brad was definitely pervy in troy as well.

Porcelaine, darling....

Thomas Crown Affair

Black and White Party.
They are dancing.
She wiggles.
He grabs her and pulls her close.
"Do you want to dance or do you want to dance."

*sigh*

Total Dom.

you would choose the hair grabbing scene. i'm rather partial to that. *grins* i love a man that see what he wants and takes it without asking. the simplicity of this makes the whole process much easier. [;)]

Yes to Mr Darcy. That is a no-brainer.

As to David Bowie as Jareth the Goblin King; I just cannot get over the mullet and eyebrows. Despite his impressive bulgey tights.

Kana -> RE: Your Fav Fictional Dom/Domme (10/23/2009 6:30:26 AM)

Hah!
My Thomas Crown suggestion has followers...

Now if you are going to nominate a Brad Pitt roll, you just have to like him as Tyler Durden in fight Club

The mullet, LMFAO. It wasn't THAAAAT Mullet-y! I guess I'm a little attracted to the whackier looking ones. Maybe it is because they *appear* more scary? Ugh, who knows, all I know is I want!

don't go peacock on me! i liked pierce brosnan in the role.

nope, i like his body in troy. it made me lust and oceans did the same. except he donned a suit in that. i do have a weakness for men in suits. see how my preferences always come out. *grins*
