I'd just shoot him in the kneecaps and then subject him to hours of flaming urethral sounding with tabasco.

LaTigresse -> RE: How would You react to an intruder trying to enter Your home? (8/6/2009 9:11:26 AM)

What would I do if someone came into my home...........hmmmm. Well, if they got into the house they obviously are someone that is welcome. I'd have to hug them and ask what they wanted to eat.

So Ladies Would You feel comfortable tackling or decking a male intruder, or would You call the police?

I would try and protect myself, with any means possible. Then call the police.

quote:

Has any male tried to push past You before and if so what was Your reaction?

Yes. He came in and hit me in my face with his fist. I was trying to protect his wife, who had run to my house after he beat her up. After he hit me, he grabbed her and yanked her out of my house. I grabbed my Louisville Slugger and went to his house. I started with the headlights of his mint condition 1969 Charger, and was at the windshield before he came out running. I held the bat up and told him if he took one more step towards me, I would break every window in the damn car. The police showed up and it was a stare down, My face was swollen and bruised and his car was not in much better shape. The police asked if either of us wanted to press charges, we both just looked at each other. No one pressed charges, so they left. This was back before the police had the authority to press charges for the victim. Was it a stupid thing I did? Hell yes. But then again, I was quite the spitfire when I was in my 20's. Would I do it again? Hell no.

Kevin, you think it is fun to ask such a stupid question? How would your own mother react if she were put into this situation? How would your sister? How would ANY woman react? Why does a woman automatically qualify as a DOMMAY to you, if they stand up and fight for their right to life? What the hell is wrong with you?

Get it through your head:

Not all aggressive women are DOMMAY'S
Not all women who wear boots are DOMMAY'S
Not all women who wear power suits are DOMMAY'S
Not all female taxi drivers are DOMMAY'S
Not all women who slap a man on the street are DOMMAY'S
Not all women who have drinks spilled on them are going to react like a DOMMAY
Not every woman you read about in the newspaper, who does something to save herself and her family from harm, is a DOMMAY

Get your happy ass to therapy, Kevin. Stop asking questions that any child above the age of 10 can answer. Were you never told to dial 911? How can you believe for one second that Domina's are so powerful that they can leap tall buildings with a single bound? We are women who happen to be dominant. No more, no less.

MoGa (Who happens to be a Domina, not a DOMMAY)

Honestly Kev, I have not found it needful to beat guys up or push them on the ground. I find a firm confident voice works just hunky-dorey.
pssstttt...Aylee...then how come you keep slapping strange men on the street?

Look, Holly, just because the groundhog is a strange man, does not mean that he is a strangER.  Sheesh!

lusciouslips19 -> RE: How would You react to an intruder trying to enter Your home? (8/6/2009 9:45:15 AM)

For property I would just hide. But if my family was involved, I would leap the tallest building, stare down the biggest bully and shoot to kill with a revolver, bat, rock, whatever if I had to to protect my own. Thats a mothers instinct. Not Dom nor sub. But the strength of a woman.

stella41b -> RE: How would You react to an intruder trying to enter Your home? (8/6/2009 10:15:14 AM)

I'd get my next door neighbour.

She works in the local chemist but also drives a minicab part time (to make extra money so she can buy additions to her collection of leather boots). If she'd got to the intruder in the street she would probably slap him across the face (even if she'd ignored him previously in the chemist, she's good with faces) but she would sort him out and probably wouldn't flatten him unless he threw water on her first.

That is, unless she's away (she goes to Dublin a lot), in which case I would probably sing and tell bad jokes.

BRILLIANT!!

Stephen123456 -> RE: How would You react to an intruder trying to enter Your home? (8/6/2009 10:28:07 AM)

I have always held that the correct response to this was multiple rounds center-mass, the sound of which, unless you lived very rural, would cause the summoning of the police before you  put the safety on and lowered your weapon. In response to the "property-only" concern, since you can't derive limited intent from actions in this case, the ONLY reasonable conclusion is that bodily harm is on the menu, and that it is your responsibility to prevent that at all costs. One less cretious scum for the courts to waste their time and my tax-dollars on.

She'd use a gun, he'd use a gun. But with all the shooting wheres all the fun? Projectiles you say, to that I declare nay. A sword is what I'd use, my martial prowess I'd abuse. For around my domain they hide, one for every other stride. A gun be loud and boultorous attracting many a folk, whilst the blade as would cut him down you tie him up and make him a joke. So when some one arrive by force meet him with something so frightening his throat goes hoarse. A firearm is so common his revenge on you he would set, but a crazy person with a sword is a sight he'd not soon forget.

And what happens if your bringing a knife to a gunfight?

I'd do the same thing I had to do after hurricane Andrew.  shotgun

Hard to say. I guess that depends on what a craic is. I should find out as soon as possible, so that I know whether or not I'm supposed to be thoroughly outraged. Wait here; I'll get right back to you with my reaction....

Lockit -> RE: How would You react to an intruder trying to enter Your home? (8/6/2009 11:24:16 AM)

I've had two home invasions when I was there. The one, I played it smart, had no weapons and not anything that I could use to really assure I would get out of it safely if I tried. So I complied, let them do what they wanted which had nothing to do with me personally and they left. Of course I had a response after they left. lol

The other, it was unsafe to do anything because of who was in the house.

Now... I doubt anyone is getting in... they may be able/allowed to get close, but I doubt they will be walking away.

You do what is the smartest thing to do in the moment and anyone trying to enter without permission Kevin... is someone who is there for a bad purpose and they don't deserve consideration. They deserve whatever they get. Take care of business; ask questions later.

I have a 70lb. pitbull who would meet them at their point of entry, I own several guns, which I am trained (and my daughter) to use. I would not have any qualms about shooting an intruder who broke into my home. I have signs on my gate warning them about the dog and one my sub bought which reads "Never mind the dog, beware of the owner".

I figure if your going to be a criminal then you take your life into your own hands when you break into someones home. Afterall a womans home is her castle.

~Lashra

Just a warning I have had passed to me that I thought I would pass on to you. At least in Canada and I think the US a beware of dog sign indicates that you know you have a weapon running around your house. Therefore if the animal attacks and harms anyone you are liable since you know that is what the dog would do. If you do not have the sign you have a bit more leeway so I have heard.

Lockit -> RE: How would You react to an intruder trying to enter Your home? (8/6/2009 11:36:15 AM)

In Colorado if you had dogs that could attack someone invading your space, the insurance company I had made it a point to tell you to have signs posted at different places of entry to your property. We had lots of signs. lol Everyone in the neighborhood knew my dogs were trained by hand signs and I didn't have to say a word to get them to do something. No one came to our house that wasn't invited after that.

This is our next purchase.  I just have to go rub one out every time I watch this video.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PO0YMPVqw-o

My Master's buddy just bought three and Master brought one of them home for me to see and handle.  Wow.

Anyway, I am submissive but still have no difficulty whatsoever in handling firearms.
