ORIGINAL: tazzygirl and you are part of the problem as well. "oh my, dont mess with what i got" well, i hope they do mess with it. its fraught with fraud... and it desperately needs an overhaul.. which is what the Blue Dogs were pushing for. again, saying you dont have the answers but you "dont feel" this is the solution.... part of the problem. nothing so far that has been pushed to the table has worked. but, if the party you people actually liked were to have promoted this, it would be acceptable. people are actually sick of being told to wait. people are plain sick. we dont have medicare to fall back on, and we probably never will. so sit back and collect your checks, and enjoy your insurance. America is tired of being raped and told to like it. And now we are getting gang banged by Obama and his cronies. Leave healthcare alone and target TORT REFORM! But that is the holy grail or 3rd wire of this libs. They won't touch that because too many of them suck off that teet to get rich and then tell everyone else what to do. And don't say anything negative about Obama. That is against the law! quote:
Even if it means bankrupting this country or taxing the wealthy to death. Last time I checked, it was the wealthy in this country that provided the jobs. and why do you want Tort reform? do you honestly see that as an answer to the health problem in this country? im sure you and those of your ilk would. so kick back, and watch what happens. the long ride of the right wing is over. These are the same wealthy that decide to hire no one full time, thus being allowed to deny them benefits, including helath care, or offering only sick benefits, thus refusing them the option of preventative care. no thank you. The top 1 percent in 2005 were those households with income of at least $307,500, and they got 18.1 percent of all "comprehensive" income, which includes all cash income plus the cash value of such benefits as Medicare and food stamps. http://www.factcheck.org/askfactcheck/what_percent_of_taxes_does_the_top.html Im gonna tell you... thats a fucking lot of money attributed to 1%... and i have no doubt that didnt include those bonuses so many are now whining that they didnt get. so while you settle back and complain that you may lose a few dollars because your taxes have gone up... then you should also remember that businesses had the opportunity to get it right. i recall when my grandfather died. he was burned badly, developed lukemia and died from complications. well, we were outside his hospital room, the Dr had just pronounced him dead. and along came the corportate guys. seems they were there to get grandpa to sign his life insurance paperwork. one stayed outside with us, another went into his room. when he came back out, they spoke to grandma, gave their condolences, said "it was a good thing we were able to get here in time for his signature Mrs... " and they left. was a time when company loyalty meant something. when workers would do anything and everything for bosses like this. no longer. people are tired of being screwed. their families are hurting. want to piss off a man badly enough to fuck over corporate america? mess with his family. and thats just what happened. no longer matters what party was at fault. the public no longer cares.
