Mostly it just means that they clicked the 'Favorites' button . . . . .. I use it to keep track of people who are my 'favorites' on the forums, for instance; I've also used it to 'bookmark' hotties who caught my attention . . . . . . Plus, I think this place needs more positive stuff like admiring people from a distance, so I like the 'favorites' function . . . . .. & it's fun to have 'admirers', tho' I've never felt the 'need' to contact strangers who've 'favorited' me . . . ... There's very much a flavor of making-this-up-as-we-go-along to this internet social-networking / dating thing, for me . . . . . [;)] . . . . . . While we can use & build on previous social forms, we're also re-inventing them to suit the new . . .. . . quote:
ORIGINAL: MsMillgrove since the thread is wildly off topic now.. I'd like to ask this burning question that I don't know where to post. What is the form regarding "Admirers?" If you see someone up there, who you don't know, what is that? Are they indicating some interest in you? Should you contact them? I dunno.. I always sat back and let others write me, it's only this week that i wrote two people to see what would happen. Do you contact these "admirer" strangers, what happens if you do? thanks for the laughs. Hope someone helps me with my admirer confusion. MsM
