ORIGINAL: Arpig quote:
Buying a pig in a poke because the slippery salesman assures you that it's "the best you're gonna get" isn't rational. First it was Treasure, and now you. I agree with you 100% that the present plan is not what is needed, however we disagree 100% as to what is needed.[:D] Arpig, As Treasure has said, you might be surprised what we think is needed. I'm definitely not a fan of the insurance companies. Not in any shape form or fashion, and if the plan was a rational address to the multiple problems with US Health Insurance companies, I'd be screaming for the plan. I've got some great stories about why I hate them. I've even testified in front of a State Banking and Insurance joint committee on exactly why I hate them. The next day, my insurance company illegally canceled half of my employee's coverage in retribution. I had a great case to sue an insurance company. Every single lawyer I talked to (including the state government's insurance ombudsman) agreed. Out of the 20 or so lawyers that said this, not a single one was willing to actually file a lawsuit, however. Unless I was willing to put up at least a couple of million dollars, and expect to wait about 10 years for any kind of judgment. Protect the insurance companies? Me? HA! Firm
