(((((s2s))))) back to you, lovely lady. I agree with you. This was just so random. She is only 5 years old, was doing very well until a couple of weeks ago, her appetite decreased greatly. The vet said it's even more odd because she is an only cat, indoors 24/7, and never had any major health issues before. She said that bug sprays can be highly toxic to cats, but I haven't used any, and I don't know of anything she could have gotten into. This is quite the anomaly. I gave her a can of tuna (per the vet, just so she would eat something) and she licked it and walked away. My ex will be helping me wrap her up and try to give her some of the meds that I was less than successful at giving by myself. I got the pill plunger to see if that might work. I had to laugh when the 2 vet techs came in to show me the best way to use it, and chloe kitty managed to not only spit out the pill anyway, but snapped down on the pill plunger and bit it into a gazillion pieces. (that we had to pick off of her drooly little cat face) She may be sick, but she has spunk.
