I hope he comes home ok, Steven......I'd be outside calling and calling....actually, I have!  I lost Smooch once overnight, he was gone for about 36 hours, longest night I've spent!

Hausboy, my Squeaks is female, and she's about 15 pounds right now, I think she's only 2 years old or so, so I'm thinking she might be at her max weight.  She's got about 5 pounds on my heaviest kitteh, Boo.  And Squeaks actaully likes to play in water.....I keep some in the bathroom sink for her to drink, and sometimes she'll splash around in it...and she gets in the shower after I turn it off to chase the water dripping out of the spouts.

Maine Coons can still be growing til about 4, so Squeaks may have a few more pounds to go, you never know!  (all the more to love) And Maine Coons notoriously love water.  Both of mine play with their drinking fountain, roll around in the shower when I hop out, and have been known to jump in while I was showering...    and man, do they LOVE snow!

Well, she's on her own for finding snow......there's a reason I'm in Florida....snow is blechy......icky......*shudder*......but yeah, she does love water.

The cat I left with my parents when I joined the Army loved snow.....she'd go outside with my dad when he would blow the driveway out and play in the snow shooting out of the snow blower.  Or she'd burrow under it like a mouse and pop up, then run around, jumping at whatever, and then dive back under the snow.

She once bonzaied my dad from the top of an 8' snowbank.....launched herself at his head, scared the living crap out of him!  He got so pissed he took her back in the house...playtime was OVER!

Okay, Nibbles finally decided that he was hungry and cold enough to return.  I had to go outside and he came by, complaining about how cold and hungry he was.  Like it was my fault he got out!  He's back inside and still grousing.

What he was grousing about was the fact that YOU A) failed to locate him BEFORE he got cold and hungry, B) didn't have a meal ready and waiting for him, and C) didn't apologize profusely for his misery.  I don't suppose you have a nice, fluffy blanket out where he can find it, do you?  You might want to try that......

Am I the only one that *snorts*  at the mental pic of Stevie calling for his "Nibbles"

I tripped over Angel today.  Luckily, no damage done, but boy is she fast at getting underfoot.

Cossette just scampered over to nuzzle me.  Mac is asleep on my hip.  Zelda is reading the mail on the table and YinYang is passed out on my bed.

I really like the name YinYang for a kitty.  Never heard of anyone naming their kitty that before.

Thank you.  Mom named him that when she realized his 'talkativeness' had to be from being part Siamese (or oriental shorthair).  He doesn't meow.  He speaks in loooong run on sentences.

Mine, Scary Harry, is on the screened porch plotting my demise.  i mentioned the possibility of a (diet) to him earlier, and he's lurking out there doing his best Jack Nicholson imitation (think The Shining).   19 pounds of displeased rescue cat is waiting patiently on top of the freezer.  Waiting for me to go out there.
i am afraid.  Maybe he's not fat, just big boned.,,,?

am being boycotted by all 3 cats for not leaving any food outside for them to eat, especially when we had to go to the hospital and sleep center on Tuesday.

Right now, even my keyboard is messing with, for taking a long nap.

Squeaks is trying to get my attention again.....she was sitting in front of the monitor being a door, so I started combing her, so she moved to the table next to me, but she's pissed cuz I brushed her.  Poor neglected little kitteh.......here she comes again......

And yes, all kittehs are the best at getting underfoot....Boo does the "I fall down here" thing when I'm walking, usually with something in my hands so I don't see him flop....belly up, wanting his "skatches".  Poor little dude gets stepped on at least once a month.

Squeaks has apparently gotten enuf attention, she's flopped down on the floor now, cleaning her parts.

Angel is quite the little wuss.  She was begging to go out first thing this morning, but when I opened the door at 8 A.M., she felt it was too cold and wouldn't go out.  She begged again at 10 A.M., but still would not go out.  Finally it was warm enough for her a few minutes ago.

Every morning when I get home from work Diamond (Short for Diamond in the rough-long story) and Bucky (he had two white stripes on his top lip that looked like bucked teeth) would meet me on the porch and demand their breakfast and would meow constantly till they were fed Lol.. Bucky has gone missing this past week though, so I'm thinking either something got him, I live in the woods, or he found a new home.. Diamond however still greets me and this morning he walked with me down the road while I walked my dogs..

My Siamese cat just hunted down a hair elastic in my bedroom. She's very proud of herself and is crowing loudly. My other cat is completely ignoring her.

Lily was a very bad girl, drinking out of the toilet in the guest bathroom this morning.  Misty was kind and allowed me to sleep in.  Angel was begging to go out the moment I woke up.  It must have been a little warmer this morning because she went right out without hesitation.

Thanks, but since he's never been gone this long before, I'm pretty sure he won't be coming back   I think Diamond misses his buddy even though they didn't really get along very well...

Diamond has decided that he has a certain spot on the porch where he wants to do his business, even though he has a big yard to go in.. I found it this morning, behind one of the chairs... YAY me.. Lol

I didn't have my video camera on, so if you can, try to visualize......

Yesterday, Miss Sophia found a large bead and she was batting it around the hardwood floor and chasing after it. Suddenly, a black blur on it's hind legs does an agitated fast side step with jazz-hands all the way across the floor alongside the travelling bead......

I know....but if you were here, it was freaking hilarious!

My cat is right now pushing her water bowl across the floor. This is what she does. She pushes it across the floor so the water moves in little waves...and then she will drink from it. (She can see the water just fine - she has great vision - she's just...well..a cat.)
