Hehe  -  you are funny!!!!!!!!!!!!

and just to clarify - there are plenty of things we can talk about online, and give accurate info. that will be helpful.  There are just as many things that you can't learn online. This is not Phoenix University. Some things you need to learn face-to-face, with someone who can actually do the desired skill.

Sorry, no-one can spoon feed you information about how to safely use a bull whip on a living person.

And no-one here knows how to do "everything". No-one i have ever read on here has ever said they know everything. I think you are getting a little silly in your postings.

It's not that they can't find it, they're just too lazy to. Is that sad? Yep. But so is whining about their stupidity. You and I are under no obligation to answer anyone. Skip their posts and forget it. Kind of like I should have with this one, right?

If you are 100% new, and you found collarme  -  as i did nearly 4 years ago - then you find the search feature and look up threads on things you are interested in.    Or you ask asinine questions that people read and groan about.  Or you cope an attitude and piss people off -  -  -  the very people you are trying to get info. from.

Taz, seriously what is your issue with what you consider real life?

I don't know many folks who claim to know all, if they do they get laughed at pretty quickly. No one seems able to get this through to you. As Kiwi said, people can ask what the hell they like, but if they are being ignorant/rude/lazy they will get responses that reflect that. Simple really. Its not about being patronising or nasty. Yes we all had to start somewhere, but no we didn't all start by going on forums and asking questions without reading. Yes forums can be a wealth of infomation, they can also be as confusing as hell, snippy, exclusive, alienating, whatever. People are people are people

I don't think it's possible to teach someone how to use a bullwhip online.

Not quite what you're talking about, but a remarkable resource nonetheless...

you real lifers have been there dune that seen everything under the sun, and maybe more you know what your doing, my question is why not tell us on liners if you know and we don’t

and maybe more to the point I don't care if you have been real life for 500 years, you have not seen dune everything, if you have two hand two feet to type with you have had you arms and lags coped off yet, so you yet to do everything (more so your stall alive and I bet I am risking a op mod dropping the part that would mean your yet to be snuffed)

I do hate real lifers who came they have dune everything truly!

You seem to fail to grasp the concept what it comes to learning to use a whip, flogger, needles, paddles, etc that those abilities can not be learned strictly from someone telling you the right and wrong way. Activities such as that are best learned by actually being taught face to face with a person who knows what the hell they are doing.
Would be nice if you got off your high horse and quit assuming we know everything. To be perfectly blunt....stop being a jerk online, ask politely and may someone will give you a civilized answer.

eta: you want to know what books we can suggest to read? Look up ResidentSadist's profile, he has an excellent book list to choose from.

Just putting this out there.  That is MasterFireMaam's vid on florentine flogging.  In it, she mentions one of the same teachers that I had, Archer.

I've never known anyone here to begrudge someone a reading list or even some web links for specific information. I offer such all the time. No one is going to tell you HOW to use a bullwhip because it has to be SHOWN to you. If you want to learn to use a bullwhip, then you need to work on meeting people in your area that will be more than happy to help you learn this new skill or attend workshops at events in your area or even travel for the specific training you desire. Skills are HANDS ON learning. I cannot put my hand over yours and help guide you through a proper strike sequence online. It just isn't possible. I CAN do that for someone who happens to come into my local club and who wants to become proficient in a skill that happens to be a strong one for me. No one is denying you information. They are telling you where to get it, but you are unwilling to make that one step to go get it.

Do you know Mistress Cyan?  A friend of mine played with her and was quite impressed.  Here's a vid of her warming up.  It gets mighty nice about 1:42.

Of course, it's also eminently possible that some people can't get results from Google or the search function here because they can't SPELL any words well enough for the search engine to make sense of! I think it's to the credit of people here that they attempt to make sense of posts and questions when delivered in such a manner. Anyone can use SPELL CHECK!

If people search bdsm under google, cm might well be one of the sites that comes up.  I'm not sure how talking to actual people about their questions is much different than reading an article or a book.  I would think talking to people who have real life experience is about as close as one can come to getting decent info.

Granted, you can't learn to use a flogger or a singletail or whathave you by talking to people, but maybe by raising the question, someone will offer some safety tips, recommend a demo in their area, or a good DVD on the subject.   Like anything else a person is new to, it starts with a thought, then information, then talk, then action.

Many people get into a state of anxiety over "trying" this, as if it's life or death, as if they're going to fuck something up their "first time", as if there is a right or wrong way, etc etc.   I don't find these people offensive at all, they're just seeking advice and info.  If someone is here interacting and asking questions, I don't consider that lazy at all. It's the person who doesn't seek info that seems lazy to me, or worse yet, the inexperienced person who thinks he's a know it all.

I don't know her personally, but I'm absolutely familiar with where that piece was shot.

I think a part of the problem may be the sort of misplaced ego concept a lot of new doms have about "I can't not know everything and not be good at everything" and certainly not in front of my/a sub. So there's this urge to get a "quick course" in whatever it is so that you don't look bumbling in front of your new/first/whatever sub. Hopefully, as someone becoems more experienced, this sort of insecurity would fade.

I am sort of boggled at the concept of "my first sub is coming over for the weekend, what should I do!?" ... I mean, I suppose my answer would be "Do what you want to, you're the Dom".  If I'm telling you what to do with your sub over that weekend, doesn't that add a whole new dynamic to the relationship?

37yo newbie post: "To make a long story short, [insert holyhellsoapopera here]. Does it make me a fake sub if this doesn't make me happy?"

I hope I fall under that 19yo part, even though I am 24.....

Oh this is truely an interesting one... I know my first posting didnt go over so well, but I hope I dont fall under the category of stupid questions, go look it up youself... I think the only time I would ask for a definition or anything like that is if I DID look it up on line and still didnt understand it and needed someone to talk human to me about it... But on the other hand, I hope that if I do ask a truely stupid question someone would say hey... no... bad girl... DUMB QUESTION!

well keep in mind I was just using bull whipping as an example, a way of trying to show what I mean... maybe I should try giving some that can be show purely on line, or real life? orgasm control I have show just on line how to hold off orgasm's and how to orgasm on command, even helping a real life couple with that, and how did they find me? popped on to a web sight and asked, now what so bad about that? I even enjoyed helping them and finding I could do it if I wont to, all of that just to some new couple not getting a book (they have a lot of books you can find for that) and going to some web sight and asking, maybe asking the right place at the right time, but asking, asking is not wrong, it can help, yes even on line

And we do so alllllllll the time. We have nothing against helping out and offering information, but some amount of effort on the learner is essential is all.
