What an ass. The epitome of partisan politics.

rightwinghippie -> RE: Ted Kennedy (8/21/2009 4:42:16 PM)

Wow, I had allways thought there was a bit of exxxageration to people complaigning about Kenedy, but I guess I was wrong. What an absolute scumbag. The Dems really need to knock this shit off. The idea of being a nation of laws, matters.

Irishknight -> RE: Ted Kennedy (8/21/2009 6:44:50 PM)

This should surprise no one. This man has put the agendas of his political party above the good of the people more often than not throughout his lengthy career.

TheHeretic -> RE: Ted Kennedy (8/21/2009 7:01:46 PM)

Be careful what you wish for, huh?  I'd have to laugh like hell if the Dems were unable to break a filibuster because of him.

What a classy thread.

Let's all see how we can can pile on the guy dying of brain cancer.

But I shouldn't have expected anything more.

And none of us expected you to actually comment on the Subject of the thread...

I will not comeback to this, dude, but the fight in texas for the goves race has cost you one, so they are leaving the party fight of their own self interested volition, you gotta get a mortality ticket to leave the dems, because right is just right

What's kinda sad, RML, is that you probably believe that is the goal of every post.

Oh, we shouldn't said anything bad about Sir Ted because he is dying???? What about Mary Jo Kopechne, the woman he left to drown after the car accident. Sorry I have not use for him or his family....

Arpig -> RE: Ted Kennedy (8/21/2009 7:40:36 PM)

His illness doesn't change the blatantly partisan nature of what he is doing.

Really?

Every post?

You mean even those that don't bash dying old men?

I think you and some others on this thread might want to take your karma reference into consideration.

Just as sure as the sun rises, mention Ted Kennedy and you will have a conservative bringing up the accident.

Refresh my memory, is that what the court ruled?  That he left her to drown?

TheHeretic -> RE: Ted Kennedy (8/21/2009 7:54:53 PM)

Then please, RML, give us your theory about why he wants to reverse a law he helped change.  I'm dying to hear your theories on the subject individual's, instead of another poster's, thoughts and motives.

I'm pretty sure it's called politics.

But wait, don't quote me on that, let me go look it up first.

I'll get back to you.

Of course Ted wasn't convicted, do you honestly believe the courts would?????? Money talks, bs walks or in this case, money keeps you out of jail..

If that had been a average working class man that waited 10 hours to report a so called hit and run where someone was killed, the court would had charge him with murder.

Just like his nephew William Kennedy was charge with rape in Fla, he walked
