good question, well, i know i have many copy pasted messages, because well there isnt much on my profile at the moment...so i'm far from anyone's 'perfect match'

I find that the almost everyone that I have contacted via CM has replied, and I've a range of interesting/entertaining/slightly disturbing conversations going on already. I suspect it's just a matter of being reasonably polite.

I never copy and paste for messages unless I'm specifically quoting something or linking to something for whatever reason... Although I find it hard to make an initial message to someone without sounding at least slightly generic (I mean how much can you say to someone you haven't talked to ever, moreso when their profile doesn't give you a ton to go on) -- But that's partly why I tend to not do any initial messages to anyone, so, fnord.

Copying messages is common, as is copying profiles.

For example, notice how many "different" profiles you can find in California looking for a submissive with the "exact" text below (including punctuation & spelling errors)!

quote:

Hi!!!!,....well i dont really have much expectation fron this site cos i sense this is not the best site for my kind of woman,..but i do sometimes believe that we find Love in an unexpexted place,..i am basically on this site looking for a long term relationship,..i mean im seeking a man i can build a relationship with and spend the rest of my life with as well,.....i am 100% real and i aint here to waste anyone's time on games nor bullshit and i do expect same in return from my own kind of man......well i have a alot of things to offer my idle man in as much he's gonna be there to take good care of me both emotionally and financially,...well if you think you are up for this feel free to contact me and let's get to know more about each other from there,.....i await ur contact

why are you digging so deep into the archives?

TieMeInKnottss -> RE: Do you Copy and Paste messages? (3/2/2013 4:44:48 PM)

I don't cut and paste ever. To me, emailing someone is the equivalent of a conversation...you tailor it to the audience and try to engage them so it must be personal.
