Is that how you interpret the notion that self-esteem is something earned, rather than something given?

I'm of the opinion that catering to the lowest common denominator is the source of many problems in the world today.

It was something I thought you said in the ‘rewarding failures” thread. I did say maybe it was someone else.

How is self-esteem earned?

I feel like I missed something; especially the track that went from me being glad that people with pissy attitudes toward US citizens, who think we all feel and believe the same things, and completely overlook the fact that all of us have roots starting from somewhere else, can’t run for president, to this.
