I think this is a facinating psychological question. It would be nice if people could answer the question and not attack the originator of the question.

I have yet to see the person Leiren actually answer the qurstion as it pertains to herself.

"Do you see yourself as perfect?
Do you see yorself as flawed?
Do you expect perfection in others?
If no what flaws can you handle, what flaws are actually appealing?
What IS the 'gold standrad' you are using?
If you are D type would you train, iron out those flaws in an s type? "

I really would like to learn your opinions and learn about you on the inside.

Ok, I'll answer for me:

"A: It's a pile of trite cod-psyche, and I don't work that cheap."

Do you have 2 profiles, because you are not the person I asked?

Then learn how to work a browser, and reply to the correct posting.

Also, this being a public forum, I'll reply to whatever the fuck I feel like replying to.

Have a nice day.

Guess you havent been here long enough to figure out if I do a quick response on the bottom of the page, it shows the last poster. It in no way means the poster is talking to you. Eh, the world does not revolve around you and since I mentioned the persons name, I thought a smart Domly like you could figure it out. [&:] MY BAD!!

Fair comment, captain.

BTW, my blackberry's set to forward mail from the link account that alerts me of new posts on here ...

... poor thing's gone into sodding meltdown [:D]

Seriously, I set it to "vibrate", and I think, were a girl able to accomodate it, it would have taken her to heaven and back by now.

Newsflash, eachother is two words: each + other. How can you make an argument if you can't even annunciate in proper grammar? Seriously, you're going to pick on others?

newfslash I am not english. But I am sure your Dutch sucks more then my English :P

let a dutchman have his breaches of english grammer, but aphotic ... don't be lecturing anybody on the english language you do not annunciate shit on paper or it's equivalence. It has a meaning only audibly in its current usage. Use clarify or something you wanna jack anybody up....
This poor use of writing skills is giving me a fucking earache.

Blocked.

How immature. I refuse to answer stupid questions. I voiced my opinion already, and if anyone wants to contact my Sir, he'll be more than happy to respond.

That BLOCKED shit is laughable.

Once again, I have to ask....what the fuck are you talking about?

Oh and I doubt that anyone is interested in contacting your "sir", but if he is really in need of some email maybe you can run an ad for him on the other side.

No I didn't know that, and please accept my sincere apologies. Mea culpa.

However, in the interests of clarity, might it not be a good idea to make it clear, when using "quick response" to briefly mention who it's aimed at?

PS: The world actually does revolve around me. Seriously. I've got the charts to prove it and everything [:D]

Prinsexx -> RE: Flaws (8/25/2009 4:26:59 PM)

Thank you for your replies to my opening post.
It was and it wssn't easy to open the thread.
It wasn't easy because I knew it would deteriorate (according to what I consider deteriration that is) to a slangfest.
But on the other hand the fact that I said: I'm flawed on the phone last night was a thought that reverberated in my head throughout the day.
It's both absolutely ok for me to have insight, see, assess and work on those flaws and at other times, hell, I'm just human. Despite all my philosophies and theories I'd like to be LESS flawed.
I've 'come out' of slavery as a personal choice fairly recently. With hand on heart I needed to grab back limits, to 'own' myself for as long as it takes until I find someone I feel is worthy of owning me. Hope that does not sound pretentious.
For what it's worth, (always in the hope that someone finds value here) my private logic goes: i serve therefore I am.... lesser than, lower than, need to be more humble than,........ the one whom I serve. Written out like that it doesn't look so healthy but it has served me in the past until as a private logic it doesn't serve me anymore.
Thank you for input which both agress with me, and input that doesn't agree with me. Trying to see myself as others see me is indeed the best lesson of all.

LillyoftheVally -> RE: Flaws (8/25/2009 4:29:39 PM)

Prins, in relation to wanting less flaws, are there any that you can challenge and change? That may be the first step, even if it is something little like drinking less coffee, honestly I cut down to one sugar in mine recently and it made a massive difference to tackling things.

How people on the internet see you, based on a few threads that you start which are often in depth self explorations is not the same as how someone see's you when they interact with you on a day to day basis, my guess is that the latter's opinions are more valid.

Not a different meaning. Just do a Google search on 'prolapsed assholes'. The pics would make even YOU vomit.

Well geez, I said them by name. I suppose I should have CAPPED IT LIKE THIS.
Leiren is not answering the posed questions anyway, She is criticizing but will not answer if she is flawed or if flaws in others are acceptable. I guess her not answering is quite telling but may show some neurosis of her own. Though it is much easier to point at others than to look at ones self.

For Me they are. IMO, judicious grammar use is indicative of the presence of brains, which are a full-on requirement of Mine..

but those people have relations too ;)

Ok, that was funny. Especially coming from someone who claims English as not his first language.

I'm glad there are some goofy moments in this flame heavy thread.

If I were a spychologist, I might suggest that certain people here are beating up on the newbies who attacked a well-established but "flawsome" (as are we all) member so strongly because they themselves are feeling rather guilty for how they treated her not so very long ago. (raised eyebrows at glass houses and stones)

Good thing I'm not a spychologist, isn't it?

It's daily work for me. Working on myself as well as the housework and the writing etc.
At the moment it includes a committed gym exercise programme with a peronal trainer, a simplfied and strict diet and work on negative cognitions, and sustaining open communication with my emergent young adults/teens and their friends.
There's a checklist of new projects and collaborations I want to start September/November.
With regard to my bdsm role, I know it's just words on a screen to some, but the shift out of slavery has been a huge inner shift.

Leiren -> RE: Flaws (8/25/2009 4:38:15 PM)

lusciouslips19,

Since you keep harping on the same damned thing over and over. I will admit I'm flawed based on the fact that I sometimes fail to live up to my dominant's standards.

However, as I keep pointing out, I've never showed up on any forum bitching my ass off about how I was 'too misunderstood', or 'too much for any dom to take control of me'.

I hope that answers you in a short and simple way since I'm way bored with this BS.

Thanks for your time.

Prinsexx comes here to bitch about how she's just too hot and volatile for any dom to handle. Then she proceeds to complain about how she can't find ANYONE willing to put up with her.

I rest my case.

I actually don't agree, even in the thread you are talking about (if the same one as I am thinking) when people went too far they were called on it, which is what has happened here. Criticise/disagree with the post if you like, but bringing up perceived personality traits gleaned from other topics seems a little silly, does it mean that once someone has made a mistake or said something we do not agree with they deserve to be punished in every other thing that they do? I commented once or twice in the other thread, then when I felt I could no longer be objective left. I believe, personally, that nasty cutting personal attacks as in depth as some have gone on here are totally uncalled for.

Well firstly, good luck with everything, seems you have an awful lot going on with you at the moment. I know how it can cause your brain to spin into overdrive and that can be a difficult thing to still. I also know how hard it is to shift from a relationship based in power dynamic to being alone again, and all I can say is as everyone says, it will get better, in time. But maybe taking the time to heal is what you need, actually that is what I think all these soul searching posts are about. I can only wish you luck.
