The problem with most people is that they try to rush through reading Shakespeare as if his plays were pulp novels and then they dismiss them as incomprehensible or 'bad communication'. His plays need to be savoured, preferably accompanied by a comprehensive glossary, a bottle of vintage port and a roaring fire.
