Age and this way of life

Status: offline 		It seems the majority, if not all, of posters on BDSM, D/s, M/s discussion boards, chat rooms, etc., are in the 20-something to 50-something range.

What happens when we age? Naturally artheritis may make kneeling difficult...our aging bodies may prevent us from doing much of what we do now...but...is anyone over 60 out there? Are they just not online because of the generation gap and technology? Does the Dominance/submission fizzle out?

Ahh the things i speculate when alone at night...

Status: offline 		i have thought about this before also. My Dragon and I have discussed what will change as we age. We know that things will change and we are okay with it. We are commited enough to each other to stick it out through the long haul.

Sooo what happens, You bonk less but you bonk better. When you cum it makes your arse hole pucker up like a duck's arse ........ (I could put dentures in it and paint eyes on the cheeks on my arse and hang a sigh "Kiss me sailor!!!") Ok off to take my meds and settle down before the funny humourless men in white coats want to fit me with my new Tux ermm straight jacket................

Actually Master is approaching 60 in just a few years. He says my duties will include wheeling him around in his chair...so i'd better start working out my arms....heh

For me, it will depend on whether or not I'm handcuffed. :)

Himself isn't 60, he'll be 55 on his next birthday, but he finds the forums somewhat foolish and frivilous. He prefers chatting one on one or in small groups r/t but does not begrudge me from doing anything of a virtual nature as long as it doesn't effect him. When it does effect him, he bans me for a bit. In some cases, he has banned me permanantly from posting to particular boards or forums.

I have discovered that both my parents have entered the Internet age, but, in the case of my Dad, it's for online poker and in the case of my Mother, it's simply so she can spam me with reams and reams of jokes. I'm seriously thinking about reporting her to TOS. ::chuckles::

i've seen some discussion on other boards about creating a BDSM retirement home................the idea wasn't drawing very many investors, unfortunately.

i, for one, will just do this thing W/we do until i cannot.

I could be that the ages of people you see on the discussion boards.. has more to do with the older (50+) age group not being familiar with computers and thus don't get online. There are a few that do.. but many of that age group just haven't made the effort.

Status: offline 		My Sir is a little over 60 and in no way do we feel he is too old to be my Dom. He does tease me that someday he will be chasing me around in his Lark (motorized chair) with hairbrush in hand.

Actually we just plan to love, live and enjoy this lifestyle for as long as possible. I am sure the kinky sex might lesson over time, but he will always be my Master.

Status: offline 		I’m here. Glad to see this thread. I guess i’m one of the old ones. I get letters from those who wonder why I still do this and also letters from those who think that maturity in this life is both beautiful and valuable. The good thing is that we can continue with what we do and what we are despite our age, physical features, disabilities or whatever.

I would love to see other older subs or Dommes respond to this thread. In another section there was a thread on, I think, maturity in the lifestyle and the people responding were in the upper forties and lower fifties. If they consider this mature what must they think of my age? *laughs*

Status: offline 		I'm double lucky... fawn is an RN who is working in a retirement home.. so she knows how to take care of me when I hit that age wall... although she is about the same age as I am... well ok I'm turning 41 and she is 39 and holding...reallllllly tightly

56 here with a bad knee, oh yea, I don't have to kneel, because I am the Domme. I know kinksters in their 70s still going strong. As we "baby boomers" age, our kink ages with us. Sure I sometimes sit to beat a boy, but if he is enjoying it, I am going to be comfy while doing it.
Generation gap and technology? I think you would be surprised at how many of us old farts are very web savvy.

Status: offline 		Fortunately I have noticed the "old people I know including myself 56" are usually busy tieing up a sub or being tied up or going to a Kink Convention or Just plain and simply Enjoying the lovely Lifestyle age has brought.

Don't worry not everyone can be "Old" but if Y/you keep trying and living Kinkily there will be so much FUN along the way!
