I’m here. Glad to see this thread. I guess i’m one of the old ones. I get letters from those who wonder why I still do this and also letters from those who think that maturity in this life is both beautiful and valuable. The good thing is that we can continue with what we do and what we are despite our age, physical features, disabilities or whatever.

I would love to see other older subs or Dommes respond to this thread. In another section there was a thread on, I think, maturity in the lifestyle and the people responding were in the upper forties and lower fifties. If they consider this mature what must they think of my age? *laughs*

She was right, of course. (Aren't grandmothers... always?) I'm still the little girl who loved playing "bad guys" with the neighborhood boys and being the one tied to the tree in silence. I also enjoy intimacy to a far greater extent than I have at any previous time in my life. Part of that is the freedom from the responsibilities of parenthood, of course, but it's also that pure freedom that comes from His domination.

We're also wise enough to know that these bodies aren't the same as the ones we wore in our twenties and thirties. Fortunately, we ALSO know that the most sensual organ is the one between our ears. We've talked about it. When our current favorite trusses no longer work, we'll find something else, or just hold hands and remember. If my memories of this current period are half as sharp as those of my childhood, I'm in for a lovely dotage!
