Hi playfulotter, Yeah, I love that quote. I found it in a book called "Ain't Nobody's Business If You Do: The Absurdity of Consensual Crimes In Our Free Country" by Peter McWilliams. It is full of great information and great quotes. As to the turkey pepperoni, I love, love, love it! Hormel makes it and it is a wonderful alternative to regular pepperoni. A serving is about 17 slices and has 70 calories, 4 grams of fat and 640 mg of sodium. I don't know exactly how that stacks up against regular pepperoni but I know that when it's heated up, a whole pack doesn't even produce half a teaspoon of grease. A pack of regular pepperoni would produce half a bowl of grease! It's spicy and delicious and I use it in tons of ways. Probably the most delicious way is making a kind of homemade Reuben sandwich with double-fiber wheat bread, sauerkraut, turkey pepperoni and no sauce. You get the feeling you're eating a big decadent deli sub but it's about as healthy as you can get. Yeah, between the meat and kraut you get lots of sodium, but as far as fat and calories, it's not bad at all. It's good cold or heated and great in salads. It's definitely a staple for me luci
