We may not know the whole story but we know enough. 9/11 was caused by pissed off Muslims flying planes into buildings. There simply is no credible evidence to show otherwise. Some people, of course, will never be convinced. It just had to be an inside job - their warped little world just doesn't make sense otherwise.

The whole story... we will never know. the idea that some people can still parade around and say it was all a hoax... now that's just stupid. Its like saying the civil war was simply a street fight between two men... and no one really got hurt.

What is it with people and the communist label?

The Red Scarce, the McCarthyism, now Terrorists (who aren't new at all)--this insanity, this excuse for reaction just won't die, no matter how silly the previous episodes turn out to be. This nuttiness got us into three years of marching back and forth across the 38th parallel in Korea, ending exactly where we started. This myopia got is into the ridiculous mess of Vietnam, accomplishing nothing. We quadrupled our national debt in the 80s outspending a Soviet Union that would fall under its own structural problems anyway in 1991. The Chinese are now our largest trading partner--and the largest holders of our debt. And now we'll be in Iraq and Afghanistan forever and a day, spending away dollars and lives to accomplish...what exactly?

This silly label has been stretched so wide that surely it must offend actual communists. It's an excuse for a non-argument.

So let's just say for argument's sake that yes indeed, Obama is a communist. There. Done.

Now what? What difference does it make?

Oh yeah. None. New label, same day.

Or wasn't he supposed to be a Muslim plant? Or was that Tuesdays and Thursdays? It's getting hard to keep track. Wednesdays and Saturdays he's not really a citizen, right? Or is that Sundays?

It just doesn't matter. The same people will hate whatever he does no matter what. May as well be for communism.

Why are you trying to switch the concept of terrorist with that of communist?  It just sounds cool to do it?

So you seriously don't give a shit about the hundreds of millions of people executed in the last century for thier beliefs?  Why would anyone oppose that?  Why would anyone want to have stopped the expansion of N Korea?  Are you pretending China is the same as it was under Mao?  Thats just dumb.


Maybe some of the slower posters will fall for the rhetorical trick of trying to alter my argument, so you can attack it.  I didn't call Obama a "Communist".   

Someone stupid and anti American enough to sign the truther document is in a high level of our Government.

Someone who helped form a Marxist Lenninist (not Communist ML is a very narrow paticular subset of "Communism" a bloodthirsty violent totalitarian subset)  Revolutionary group is working in a high level of our Government.

I have a problem with that, and want to comment on it.   You don't like that.  Too bad.

I have no doubt that Zinn is stupid and reflexsivly anti American enough to have fallen for it.  Zinn is a loud, proud Marxist.  Believe me, if Howard Zinn was appointed to a high level Gov position, I would be making noise about it.  Don't know who the others you cite are, or what thier relevance is.

They are not serving high in the Federal Government.  Zinn can believe any stupid thing he wants. But the claims of the truthers were ludicris on the face of it.  And any one dim enough to not have immediatly noticed, should not be in Gov at a level above garbage man.
