Raven, that is lovely.  And seems to be healing up nicely as well.

Many thanks for the compliments folks. she was showing it off at the munch We run last night. Loads of compliments there too.

It is a cut above the ordinary, Vas did a wonderful job on it and I have no qualms about recommending him to anyone here in London.

A slave of mine wanted a ruler tattooed on his inner thigh. My perfect number is 8- a number he will never reach. As I did not order him to get this.  This tattoo was for him a symbol of his submissiveness and inability to ever please a woman.  Every time he'd look down and see... its still not any bigger.  A bold tattoo for future women he will meet- something maybe he'll regret in his older years.  It also depends on the persons dedication to the lifestyle.  This man lives it breathes it daily.  Just think about the permanence of it and how expensive it might be to have it removed if you get a new mistress one day.....

Tattoos are so low rent. I can't beleive how much money some folk are ready to spend to look so cheap.

Awww. Ain't you sweet.
Low rent to me falls more in line with those who are so judgemental that they come across as ignorant.

Tattoos are a very personal thing. Unlike most relationships they are forever so even if you are getting it to denote a relationship make it something YOU like and can live with. After all you will be living with it.

I have a phoenix back piece that was done for my former owner, his nick name was phoenix. Even though we are no longer together it is still something I am proud to wear and something that to most people is just a normal tattoo. I have thought about getting kanji (beautiful pain) but I am terrified of getting the wrong symbols or having it done poorly. Not everyone can do good caligraphy.

Currently my owner and I are discussing tattoos, though it's not a matter of "if" it's a matter of style and type at this point.    Been looking around the web and we are currently thinking of doing it in Kenji (Japanese characters) as it seems to be fairly common and most people can't read them so it doesnt' have to be as hidden.  And since my Mistress speaks Japanese it seemed like a good idea.
At any rate was curious on hearing some other points of view from those that have either given their subs/slaves tattoos to mark them as theirs and from those that have received them.
In particular I'm curious about impacts on the relationship either positive or negative.
also very interested in opinions from anyone that also used Kenji for this purpose.

I personally find it fascinating that you would want to do that. Not because I'm in awe of the tattos themselves, but rahter the love and bonds between the two of you that it shows. *smiles* I know quite a bit of Japanese myself that I've amassed over the last 9 or so years. I have to finish learning a few more concepts and I could easily pass the tests that they give in Japan for how liguistically (sp??) adept you are at the language. :D I think that it's wonderful that you want to do it in Kanji as it is both beautiful and elagant and the meanings for one knaji are many and varied depending on what you use it for and how the lines are drawn and which way they curve.

Word of caution though;

Most Japanese see tattos as a tabo thing and so, if you intend to ever visit Japan, make sure they're covered up. The older generation sees it as a defiling of the body and the younger gnerations do it to show membership to gangs there if I have not misunderstood the things that I have heard, read, and been told by friends that have went there. *smiles*

Other than that, have fun.

Oh, and yes, tattos are reversable with lazers and such. But! It is extreamly painful and it costs crap loads of money. :( Only two downsides. :D

Bye for now,

Me

You are allowed your opinion. However, you are very closeminded and judgmental. You are low rent IMO because you have verbal vomit constantly spewing out of your mouth and don't care who it lands on. I would have hoped that at your age you would have learned some manners and self restraint.
