I really feel that the OP needs to chill, relax, spend time listening to a few CDs... oops!.

"The person in question is a long-time cross-dresser for many, many years, who now, at the age of 50, states in their profile, "I am a m2f transsexual WOMAN".  They show their sex on their profile as "female", and their sexual orientation as "lesbian".

Regardless of the sex and sexuality boxes they checked, it says they are a "m2f transsexual.

It is pretty clear what point they are in their transition.  I don't see it as lying.

MissLeslie, please listen to me as one Dom to another.

You began your post with a viewpoint that was in the minority, as I'm sure you realized.  And yet you presented your ideas as though anything less would be almost unthinkable.  The fact thjat you encountered disagreement was to be expected.

I have known Lockit and lushy for over a year online, and have met lushy in person, and have swapped ideas with them during that time and never had any issues.

I suggest that you learn to accept divergent opinions and develop  a sense of humor.  Note that stella is herself a TS and may have felt strongly about your post but chose to defuse things with humor.  Kudos to her.

LadyEllen -> RE: Misrepresentation By Crossdressers Concerning Their Gender And Sexuality (9/25/2009 8:38:18 AM)

In the Birmingham County Court
Claim No.
Issue Date.

Lady Ellen (the claimant)
v
Multiple Users Of Collar Me (the defendants)

Particulars Of Claim

The defendants at no time notified the claimant that such a thread was in progress, representing a clear case of negligence by omission

The claimant claims for psychological distress occasioned by missing out on a genuine cat fight, in a sum as the Court may see fit

The claimant expects to recover no more than a series of entries to the thread to follow up this entry

The claimant might believe these particulars of claim to be true but is unlikely to sign them as the very idea of a lawsuit against someone unknown and identifiable, even by class as here, is going to be laughed out of Court notwithstanding jurisdiction.

The claimant also believes that its a good job no one has been harassing HER, or SHE'd have to make out even more papers for the Court.

Okay...so I think that this gets to a very clear point in the whole affair.  The OP claimed that "crossdressing" males were lying on their profiles - yet the example she gave was very clear in who and what the person was - there was no lie, no deception, no harm or foul in how they identified themselves.

I would like to see one profile where the person claims to be "female" and somehow it is not clear that they are or have been in transition somewhere in the profile, journals, pictures, or writings.

I further read from the OP of how people like -me- are somehow socially dangerous - again, an argument that is specious and just plain wrong.

There have been people through history who have decried and maligned and even harmed groups of people because of the fact that they were different.

We call these people bigots.  And we pity their narrow minds and limited views.

The views expressed by the OP are bigotry plain and simple.  The target this time is people who express their gender in a way that she does not agree with.

How's that for a definition OP?  In -my- view, you are a bigot.

Bullshit!!!!!!!! I did a massiv shout-out for the 'english girls', right up front, and only Stella came (in a lacksadaisial manner, I might add) and you might have been hoovering your hose, or some other cloth-eared bint(ed) excuse, but goddammit.....I tried.

Moonhead -> RE: Misrepresentation By Crossdressers Concerning Their Gender And Sexuality (9/25/2009 9:05:34 AM)

I think the OP is long gone: her profile doesn't seem to be there anymore.

LadyEllen -> RE: Misrepresentation By Crossdressers Concerning Their Gender And Sexuality (9/25/2009 9:12:18 AM)

Sorry Ron, but being otherwise occupied (answering correspondence on the several lawsuits I've started against other users for no good reason) it was requisite that I be notified and however you might have tried to do this (proving the general duty of users to do so incidentally) no notification was received.

Does anyone know what a "vexatious litigant" might be? Some of the letters that came from the Court this morning talk about them......

E

Moonhead -> RE: Misrepresentation By Crossdressers Concerning Their Gender And Sexuality (9/25/2009 9:15:42 AM)

I think (though I can't swear to this) a vexatious litigant is somebody whose taken a case to court purely for its nuisance value. The $cientologists are masters of this dark art, by a lot of accounts.

Here ya go, LadyE

LadyEllen -> RE: Misrepresentation By Crossdressers Concerning Their Gender And Sexuality (9/25/2009 9:18:37 AM)

Thanks you two! It was meant as a joke...... I'm taking the piss out of the whole idea proposed by the OP of taking Lockit amongst others to Court!

Regardless, I think I'm going to start a thread about Moonhead; I think its morally wrong to use that screen name since its misrepresenting what that user's head must look like (I hope)......... who knows, I might even start a lawsuit
