Nice try Spinner but its clear enough that the game the left is trying to play these days involves trying to claim that anyone who is at all 'partisan' is a racist or whatever, and being reminded of all the fanatical partisanship on the part of the left during the last administration puts a kink in that little race baiting game. Can I ask how "the left" is defined in the 'States these days? Is it defined as purely anybody who isn't a member of the Republican party? Because I can't for the life of me see how Obama is even remotely left leaning in any other terms. The lad's the very model of a right of centre monetarist, and isn't even left leaning enough to suit Clinton's other half.

Obama voted consistently with the furthest left Senators while he was in the Senate, and so here he is or he should be considered very far left, and his supporters are from the far left, generally. However, the correctness of the challenge to Bush's first election (I don't think anyone questioned the second) has nothing to do with the correctness of the challenge to Obama's citizenship. Nor does the correctness of making the charges have any importance in the discussion. It comes down to the simplest of principles: Two wrongs do not make a right.
