Facebook yanks poll asking whether to kill Obama‎


SAN FRANCISCO — The US Secret Service is trying to identify the people who launched an online poll at Facebook asking whether US President Barack Obama should be assassinated.

Facebook on Monday shut down the user-generated poll, which was titled "Should Obama be killed?" and offered answer choices of yes, no, maybe, and "If he cuts my health care."

"Once we found out about it, we worked with Facebook to have it removed," Secret Service spokesman Malcolm Wiley told AFP.

"We are certainly investigating; just like we would with any threat case."

More than 750 Facebook users had reportedly cast votes by the time the poll was yanked from the wildly popular online social networking community.

What exactly are they "waking up to?  Assassination is an acceptable solution for a political figure you disagree with?

rumor has it a faction of the CIA tried to kill him a few weeks ago.

This from a Russian source- per Bob Chapman.   The "empire" is NOT happy with Obama and it IS possible that he will not last 2012 IMO.

They made a movie about how to assassinate Bush and who disavowed it.

No one.

To me, its fun to see the left settle in for a good cozy rest in the very bed they spent eight long years making.

These days nothing should come as a shock, its all been done. And its odd to hear them crying when all this comes back and haunts them.

I may think of you as right of center I've never perceived you to be a twue right winger. You'd certainly be labeled a RINO by some of the stalwarts around here.

Well when "THEY" did, did you speak out out about it?

Did the Secret Service stop its promotion and showing in the United States? I am POSITIVE they wanted to! Its likely they were over ruled on that by the President.

As far as you crying about this "they did it first" tact, please... the Democrats spent eight years in complete dissent mode in almost every action taken by the Bush administration.

Now that the Republicans have taken to using that same plan, you find it distastful and complain about it but you cannot be bothered that the president was set prior.
