I did last October's roll, and I thought Id start this one out as well. Its yet another month and I am sure there are lots of things going on. I, for one, am getting married in 18 days. I am ready, planned and prepared, though I still assume the jitters will it closer to the actual day of. It is also our 2 year anniversary this month on Oct 13. How fares everyone else?

Congratulations you two. I hope the ceremony goes off without a hitch. In two weeks I'll be seeing Mistress again for a few days. We're even going to a local Halloween party. I'm very excited, gonna be the first dressing-up Halloween I've had since I was 14, and Mistress' costume is going to be gorgeous. I'm going as a very young and corruptible Catholic priest. Still waiting on my clerical collar to arrive in the mail. Other than that...eh, not much. I'm perusing craigslist and other such venues for a cheap-cheap-cheap car, since I'm still unemployed and all the places withing walking distance of my apartment have been tapped out. It'll mean a really lean Christmas, but it needs to be done.

OCTOBER!!! FREAKING YAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAY!!!!! Well I have many things I need to begin to do. With only once source of meager employment I am just going to say fuck it and do the employed/self-employed type deal doing many different things. I plan on making many costumes for halloween this year. Technical work is also in order. I'm cheap and I will get the job done(hire me ;_;). Can we say demented mime? Bowler Derby, Black and white striped knee-high socks, dress pants turned into shorts, black dress shoes, and a butlers jacket with a poofy shirt underneith. OH, cannot forget the black and white striped pantyhose over the head and the black leather driving gloves. or the black light to make the effect Pop out. squeals with glee I am hoping to finish an anatomically correct skeleton carved out of palm fronds (a medium I have been interested in of late) and other things. I want to get the ball rolling on this. I want to be morbidly positive this month and make this halloween the best one. EVAR. My life has not been the same since last years halloween... was not... halloween without the special someone. -_-; Aidan I am in the same boat as you with the lack of car. Although I would rather have a truck so I may haul things around for cash/monies. I just finished a microscope. It functions but the base needs painted. I just need to build a telescope now. I am thinking Dobian. ------- Oh by the way I have tons of lenses now. TONS. ^_____^

Well, around mid-September, 2 of our 3 cats got out of the house and vanished. Very early in the morning on the 30th, one of them (thankfully, the friendly one) returned to us. This means that I don't have to buy Holly a ferret yet. Other than that, I'm still busting butt at work getting things ready for "The Great DOC Shuffle" which is to happen sometime this month ... but they won't tell us when because heaven forbid that we know what the hell is going on. My opinion at this point is that if they don't tell us, then they get to deal with the girls being without their meds because we didn't have enough people to pack them up in time.

Going camping on a beach site, next week. Yay me. Can't wait for that new experience.

To start, today is MP's birthday. Happy Birthday, Honey! I love you so much and you have given Me so much in My life. September was pretty good to Me. I was a bit bummed out about turning 41. Let Me rephrase that. I was depressed. It only lasted a little while, which I'll get on to in a minute. Early in the month, I had clip home for a bit. Unfortunately, MP had a work related class out of town at the same time, so they didn't get to see each other. We did make it to the club I had mentioned wanting to go to in last month's roll call. It was a very nice play space and I would highly recommend it to anyone. I finally got to meet Steel and his girls. Along with Merc, beth, Wyldhrt, and some other folks, we had ourselves a darned good time. The day after My birthday, and part of why I wasn't bummed out long, I was at Folsom Street Fair. That was an experience! Unfortunately, I missed meeting a lot of the CM folks who were going because I went to the wrong restaurant. (Sorry folks.) I still had an absolute blast and was on the very happy train for days afterward. As for what October brings, clip missed the cutoff date for filing paperwork to attend the nursing conference. That means all of the time from here on out, he will be in Afghanistan. I expect that to be until February. Sometime in the near future, you may be seeing Me post a thread on something that has been coming for a while. That being clip and I are transitioning more to a M/s dynamic than a D/s one. After two years, we're in the right place. Sure, there are challenges. That's part of why I see it as a transition, rather than a decision. MP will be having shoulder surgery next Tuesday. The same type of rotator cuff repair that he's had done before. This is always such an interesting time in our household. He makes for a terrible patient and I'm over protective. Just think of how smoothly THAT goes with two Dominant types in the same household. DV and Fox, I just want to say congratulations. I wish you nothing but happiness!

Best wishes for a long and happy life together, DV and Fox! October is the month I've been waiting for most of this year. I'm off to London for a two-week holiday on Monday and am looking forward to everything she has to offer: the monthly fetish fair, the Frieze and Zoo art exhibitions, a candlelight concert at St Martin in the Fields (a Mozart divertimento, two Bach concerti, Pachelbel's Canon AND Vivaldi's Four Seasons - yee haw!), a performance of Rigoletto, museums and art galleries galore, plus shopping for a suitable neighbourhood to live in when I move back next year. I know femdoms are supposed to be all cool, calm and collected, but I'm practically skipping down the hallway!

October is like the Best Month Ever. The weather is perfect, the colours are popping out in the foliage, the kids are ensconced in school, Samhain (Hallowe'en) is coming (along with the rest of the holidays), some nice Ppeople I know are getting married (BLESSINGS of long life and perfect happiness to DV and fox), and for once, I even have all My own ducks on a row (actually no, I only have one duck and she lives out in the yard, but hey, My life is more together at this point than it has ever been. Word).

FR, after read thru Yep, I'm in the Yay! October! column . . . . . Many wishes of great luck to all those going thru grand transitions this month . . . . Busy BDSM month flowing into a busy kinkster season -- two munches, a Halloween play party, & I'm facilitating & presenting at a rope workshop in October . ... . & we had a really succesful car-pool field-trip of local munch people going to Folsom, so I'm optimistic we'll do some more of that this fall & winter . . . . . SinfulCat down in Sac has lots of class-&-play-party combos, & the Citadel has so much fun stuff going on . . .. . I'm finally starting to see the light at the end of the mourning tunnel . . . . . sigh of relief I've been conversing satisfactorily with a sweet person from these boards, don't know if anything will come of it but it feels like movement forward regardless of outcome . . . . . Autumn is always a time when my life feels like it's shifting into gear, a time of promise & boundless optimism . . . . Can't wait for it to start raining, lol . . . ... .

I am glad October is here. Tis time for Samhain and hopefully I can celebrate it with no problems. Just waiting for my SSI award letter to come through so I can get some things done. Debating rather or not to relocate to any city in order to be closer to my daughter, but then I would feel guilty for leaving my mother behind. I am also collecting a bunch of spicy casserole dishes recipes so it would be easier to fix during the fall. Crockpot recipes are even worthy in my mind. I am reading Arabian Nights right now, remembering how I used to read them in my childhood. Next book is The Last Symbol by Dan Brown in the next day or two.

Congratulations, DV and Fox!! Hope you can post pics here or on Fet~~ Happy belated birthdays to LP and MP! I loved turning 40, and I expect 50 to be seriously great! MP---good luck on the surgery, I know how annoying surgery is. Just relax, and don't give up the remote! October holds Kinky Kollege in Chicago for me. I am going to do a hook pull with Fakir Musafir!! This is one of those always-wanted-to-do-it things, so I am excited. I have no idea what to expect, since my brain is clogged with psychoactive drugs. Can I do anything resemblling a trance state? Will it just be Adrenaline Central? Stay tuned!

Well... it's a big group, maybe 50 of us... we all get pierced in the upper chest with 12 gauge hooks, which are attached to something or other, and we dance and raise energy and share the moment. Pretty much. It's a shamanic energy thing, related to the Sun Dance, and other tribal rituals. And it's with FAKIR!! omg!

HI there.. I am back on CM after an absence.. and a good but short term relationship with a good boy* .. HE was transfered to the other end of CA. .yes I met him on here.. precious r...I hope we see each other again..ever entwined.. He painted my toenails perfect and made the best pizza dough ever!!!! I have a new home..hard wood..huge trees,,character home in the arty party of town..I love it ..a huge room for my art studio and jewelry bench.. 2nd bedroom will be the GYPSY tent..* MY grandson turned 5 and started school.. someone called me a GILF hahahhahha* I have started a new project GoddessZING....to share 16 years of research and HAVE FUN...GoddessZING.blogspot.com I LOVE FALL and look forward to circles and ritual for my NEW YEAR... Best Wishes DV and Congratulations to Fox (way to go)! I also welcome Fall. This Summer was not a complete downer; but, it has been something of a subdued slide: As some of you may remember an co-worker of mine did one of those idiotic murder-suicide stunts this past May. I never saw it coming. I ate lunch with this guy at least once a week; and, I never saw it coming. Everybody else did; but, not me. I am not so foolish as to think that some magic words on my part could have prevented it. If I had "seen it coming" the way my preceptive co-workers had, I would have called the cops!. After that, my computer locked up. I can't afford to replace the silly thing. On the plus side I got out of the house more. On the down side I missed CM and Ask-a-Mistress. I missed debating with Hibiscus and philosophising with Kia... all Summer. It has been to cool to swim and the snow left anyway. My work was cut back to about 34 hours a week in early June. On the plus side... LOTS of time off... Down side, no money. Meade and I are becoming more like buddies that Trainer/trainee. Then... the Coup de Gras... My favoritest and most belovedest National Forest caught fire. I had to watch from Ohio. I couldn't go on line to get the real scoup. I was relegated to CNN and FOX. THE PAIN! That brings me back to my computer... In September a ski friend called. I related my problems with my old system. He said, Gee Mikey, before you give up, try your boot disk." It worked (sort of)! The damn thing still locks up (at the worst possible times); but, now I can fix it. October brings November. Then... Then... SNOW! Respectfully, Mike SnowRanger

I know it, Greeds!! I am tres excited, and the friend that I am going with has done this many many times (and is again this weekend in SFO) so w00000t!! Another friend is Fakir's apprentice in the branding... and is now certified to do branding. Yep, I know lots of the kool kidz!
