OH NO! Some one is challenging the King... in a democracy? What is this NON-SENSE? I say burn FOX for reporting the news that the ABC channels won't report. I think this is outrageous. What's worse, FOX justifies this by using this so-called "first amendment" that we all know is a conspiracy manifested by the "evil" right. Lastly, I find myself glued to the TV set with the inability to change the channel. So, I am going to advocate for the shutdown of FOX. The above is the mindset of almost every liberal in this country. If they don't like something they want it to be shutdown. But, they know they can't do this through logic. So instead, they create these hypocritical claims on how FOX is "deceiving the people." While at the same time, the left (MSNBC, CBS, and NBC) aren't any different. According to http://www.mediaresearch.org/biasbasics/biasbasics1.asp. A majority of journalist (80%) have been voting democratic since 1964. According to ABC news http://abcnews.go.com/Story?id=6099188&page=1 (the channel that held the info commercial on Obama health-care) has even pointed out the media bias during the presidential campaign. John Stossel, an ex-ABC news journalist said When I announced last week that I was leaving ABC for Fox, some readers complained about my "bias." I replied: "Every reporter has political beliefs. The difference is that I am upfront about mine." When the majority of all journalist in the media are democratic. Do you really believe that most of them aren't going to have a partisan essence attached to their reporting? In the video from CNN http://www.cnn.com/2009/POLITICS/09/12/tea.party.rally/#cnnSTCVideo, it's very obvious every person they showed lacked the skills to be articulate, and all the people were white. There was this one scene where this older white guy was hitting the sign of one of the tea-party protesters. But, what they didn't tell you was that the man with the mustache was part of an opposing protest. Thus, leaving you with the impression that there was a crazy old tea party douche hitting these poor innocent protesters. In the first article, a journalist discusses is perception on what he was seeing during the campaign. For instance, he descriped how he found himself yelling at the tv/lap top because of the biased reporting he was noticing. He also stated that "... worst of all, for the last couple weeks, I've begun -- for the first time in my adult life -- to be embarrassed to admit what I do for a living." The last article talks about how the media tries to paint a picture of them being "fair" and not promoting any kind of partisan agenda which is a fallcy. By contrast, much of the FOX commentators and journalist are quite open about them leaning more towards the right (Bill O'reilly for instance). In all, FOX is reporting the news that most of the left wing media is refusing to report. Bye the way, if you don't like FOX then don't watch it.
