Perhaps you should actually read it. Because if you did, you will notice that I use 3 articles which proves the partisan on behalf of ABC, CNN, CBS, MSNBC, and etc. Also, I agree that FOX is partisan. I have never said that FOX isn't, and I would like to clear that up.

Where the disagreement comes between us is the level of partisanship.

Fox is blatant about it while you have to try hard to make an argument that ABC, CNN, or CBS exhibit bias.

I did not attack his age. It is a valid point, knowing how his age group is very idealistic, especially when in college and filled with the growth of money and all you are being told, as i was, that the republican way is the path to riches.

Just as an aside, didn't you just tell me yesterday that you almost never watch Fox?

Which then brings on the obvious question of how you can judge something as apples and oranges when you don't watch it.

To be accurate, I said I very rarely watch Fox News.  I am familiar with it, and what they do.  You don't need to drink the whole gallon of milk to know when it has turned sour, after all.  The other night, just for an example, I exposed myself to at least 2/3 of a Glenn Beck segment, for no other reason than to get a feel for his schtick (put your dirty mind away [;)]).  If I should spend an evening with a certain aunt and uncle up the road, I will get a full dose of Bill O'Reilly while we visit in the living room, and if I drink a beer or five with a different uncle, I will get a nice dosing of the Olbermann routine.  (Would you believe the uncles go hunting together, and both come back alive, every time???)

My biggest problem with Fox is not the political spin, but the tabloid presentation, and that I find across the dial of cable news.

Age is no more relevant than race or sexual preference.

I know people in their 20's with a higher level of maturity than others I know in their 60's.

She was probably just assuming that the lack of maturity in your arguments ("The above is the mindset of almost every liberal in this country") was due to your youth. If there's some other explanation for your rash leaps of logic and the emotional extremes that often seem to characterize your posts, perhaps you could share it with us, so we don't judge you unfairly.

You know guys really, you and Tazzy are trying to attack his age instead of the arguments he presents.

I don't agree with his viewpoints but don't attack his viewpoints based on his age.

If you look at some of our other conservative posters the arguments are remarkably similar.

That's a fair observation, but I'm genuinely not attacking his age, Rule. I don't even know how old he is, because I've never looked at his profile. It just seems to me that the arguments are often rash and lacking maturity. I like the guy, but he loses me early on in a lot of his posts because of that.

I do appreciate how well you know me. Firstly, I am in the military as a E-3. Secondly, I pay my own bills including college. Thirdly, you can continue to attack my age, grammar, or anything else except the viewpoint. As I know that you are not coherent enough to hold a conversation without going on the offensive.

tazzygirl -> RE: The White House vs. Fox News (10/13/2009 10:41:35 PM)

And i know people in their 20's that have a "party 24/7" attitude, still living off mommy and daddy with only a cell phone bill to pay.

Maybe if you stopped long enough to read all the posts, you would have seen my point. Do try and find it.

So, your point is I am a 20 year old, rich, immature, college brat that doesn't know anything, but you are an all knowing queen that can't be wrong with or without a valid point?

tazzygirl -> RE: The White House vs. Fox News (10/13/2009 10:50:15 PM)

still didnt find it huh

its late and im off to bed.

when you do find it.. if you care to look.. maybe you can explain how the one news agency that vows its fair and balanced can set itself up as the god of all news organizations and slam the rest for not reporting what fox has. oddly enough, also explain why, during the recent gay march, they used ABC cameras to show the crowd... when the Fox studio has a birds eye view on the same area. All they had to do was point a camera out their window.

or maybe the gay movements just dont measure up to the same standards as the tea parties?

OK, nevermind.

I tried to help, but you just can't help yourself can you?

ElectraGlide -> RE: The White House vs. Fox News (10/13/2009 11:00:35 PM)

I like watching Fox, I watch MSNBC and CNN also. Its up to me to form my own opinion on how I think about current news. It seems to be the current News Broadcasters trend to try and persuade you into their angle of thinking. I guess people can be brainwashed if they have no opinion. It seemed like for 3 months after Obama was elected all the news channels had to let us know he was our first African American President, like we didn't know, lol. Thats enough to make you turn the channel, treating the viewers like 3 year olds.

Don't forget overweight, bitter, 40-something, first wives, still living off the guy who knocked them up the first time during the junior year of college.

yeah, that must suck for them, Heretic... or... do you have first hand knowledge you want to share?

TheHeretic -> RE: The White House vs. Fox News (10/14/2009 6:58:11 PM)

I've fucked a few, over the years.  [:D]  Generally, I've found them way too locked into their own little worldview and prejudices (and frequently near psychotic about how relationships "are supposed" to work) to be worth considering for a long-term relationship.  But I have fucked a few.

I just thought we had drifted into a tangent about types of people on the internet who are rigid and wrong in their belief systems.

tazzygirl -> RE: The White House vs. Fox News (10/14/2009 7:00:03 PM)

grins

ive fucked a few too

small world huh
