i don't believe the doctor will be required to give the names of anyone to the Department of health and the DOH won't be publishing names of the patients. The form is an anonymous form submitted to the DOH. Unfortunately if they note this information even anonymous info separately per person it will be identifiable in smal towns etc. Even so, i think this is complete BS, i can see if the patient CHOOSES to participate and fills out the form with full disclosure as to what she is filling out and submitting to the DOH, but it being REQUIRED? Hell no. And my question is what about minors? I don't know if they need parental consent to have an abortion nowadays, but they damn well do need parental concent to having ANY information released about them to any place, As someone else noted, in a small town little information could go along way especially with speculation. I hope this gets slapped down quickly and noted for its BS. In the end, this isn't about abortion, this is about the rights and privacy of the patients who seek legal medical treatments being exploited for their choices. angel
