This wasn't listed as one of the choices, but it's what happened in my life with Himself. He told our mutual friend the second day he met me that he was going to collar me ::I found this out years later:: but he didn't do so until I begged him for it. He 'knew' but waited till I 'knew'. I also knew that once I begged, that was it.. there was no turning back and he made sure I knew that too. Didn't matter though.. it was way to late for there to be any other options for me.

Considering no matter how you go about it, the slave has control over consent, it doesn't really change the situation.

And again for me Ms isn't about control, but authority.

The whys and wherefores fade into insigifance when the time comes and if it comes from the heart to the heart it will be right.....LA says "the slave has contro over consent" I guess that is right from the cold emotionless climate she appears to live in.. I know that a slave has already submitted in her heart and mind and when the Master already owns her heart and soul, she has lost control of consent.... Others will disagree and I respect that, but, they haven't walked my walk, had my head on their shoulders, done what I've done or seen what I've seen.... All views here are expensions of our own beliefs and experiences which makes them true for that person but not universally true..

it seems that ppl take written words as law (as their *bible* in life/lifestyle)

not all that is right for others is right for you and viceversa. just do it on ur own style.

i dont mind a sub askin for gettin under my guidance (i dont like the word collar too much), but i d prefer to tell him/her that i want them.

I would agree completely with this.. at least in terms of how it works in my relationship.

Although frankly, I would not say that LA lives in a cold emotionless climate (I don't know her so I don't know what kind of climate she lives in) - I'm a little surprised to hear a comment like that from you, Iron Bear.
