How does a Man and Master find a woman who offers all of what she is or wishes to become, who gives herself totally, heart, mnd and body to a Master who will keep her safe and secure and yet be able to expand her, without compromising her?

By finding a woman who is secure and knowledgeable about who she is and fully understands and accepts the commitment to become who she will be in that relationship.

That doesn't mean there won't be compromises- life forces compromise and change of expectations no matter what.

By being the man and Master such a woman would desire. That and some pure, dumb luck. There's much to be said for timing.

He seeks her first as a person, just as is done for any relationship. Finds out who she is and develops from there.

No one can expect a relationship to start off at the very first, and there is no right or wrong way to go about searching for the one.

The chemistry between two people must work for anything to happen. Sure, there is no guarantee the women nearest you are the right type of gal, however, coming to this board is a good step in finding someone who shares your ideas of D/s. Again, though, even with that in mind, there is no way to tell whether it will work out or not. The only thing you can do is try and see.

It is like asking for what makes a good submissive or a good Dominant. Each individual's opinion on who or what that should be is different, aside from some common points. (which there have been many threads on, I'm sure LA can point you in the right direction, or you can search for the threads using the forum search option.)

But ultimately it all boils down to this single observation: what works for someone doesn't work for everyone.

Through patience and an understanding of human hearts and minds. Inverting that focus inward for clarity of your own desire is equally important; it is imperative you know exactly what you seek, and what you are willing to compromise upon. Lastly, let yourself be seen.

OK, since some of My esteemed colleagues took the humorous route, I will give My insight, granted I am not a Master but I see Dominance as gender netural--but I am experiencing this now with My boy--I believe after the "details"--the interview, the lists, all the getting to know--the traditional tug of war ends--there needs to be a chemistry-- a yang for the ying--for it is from there that the relationship blossoms---the dance of the dynamic begins and trust begins to solidify the T/two together. It is the trust of acceptance that IMHO allows one to begin to reveal themselves--this revelation is a two way street--the acceptance that this is who I/i am---for it is then that one begins to reveal the deepest recesses of who they are--fears, joys, hopes, needs, wants binding the T/two together.

All good answers, but BitaTruble I think has hit the nail on the proverbial head. I believe the trick is to work hard on being a better person (and a better Master) so that you are more desirable to the Subs/Slaves. When they find this out (and believe me the word does get around) you will be able to pick and choose the one you want.

Is it the kind with the caramel inside? A customer of mine brings those into work all the time. The OTHER fun thing about Dove is the sayings in the wrapper...kinda like a fortune chocolate.

Some of my favorites;

"smile, people will wonder what you are up to"

"Wink at someone while you are in your car today"

"Red looks good on you"
