I try really hard to but it's a vicious cycle cause exercise aggravates the problem then you're to weak to do anything an then your bone joints stiffen up. I'm a lot more active than I was, and If I am exercising butnot with Ginger Ie walking the mall with a friend, I'll get daddy to run Ginger about the yard, so they both get their hear rate going as did Iquote:
ORIGINAL: purepleasure Tfb, If you've been diagnosed with arthritis of any kind, that would explain your pain. And it's REALLY important to stay as mobile as possible. I know you don't want to hear this either... cuz I certainly didn't.... PLEASE lose weight, not for anyone but yourself. You're only in your 20's. I've had many of the same physical health issues you are experiencing when I was in my 20's. I wish SO badly that I would have taken better care of my body, because I wouldn't have near the pain that I do now. I'll be 47 this month, and hon, it does NOT get better as you age. I'm full blown diabetic, and on 2 injections and 3 pills a day for it. I have arthritis in my knees and back, and should take stock in Aleve, as most prescription painkillers would leave me too groggy to work. Both of these things could have been put off until much later, had I only listened. But, I was young, and I "knew more than they did". Guess what, I didn't. I needed to get of my sedentary, lazy, tv/computer/video game addicted butt, get exercise, and get control over my body. So, if sometimes my posts to you sound a little harsh, it's because I care, and don't want to see ANYONE go through what I do. So, next time you think about putting off walking your dog, or taking a walk by yourself, even, just think to yourself... "Sure, I don't want to do this, but I need to do this, and I will feel better 20 years from now for doing it today". You are worth the effort.
