Okay now before the jeers and jokes start coming...allow me to explain. Some Coke(as in soda for all of you heads) spilled and got on and in my laptop....Now miraculously it has survived...but I am left with some sticky issues as far as the keyboard is concerned....any advice as to the best cleaning method would be appreciated.
Any jokes about sticky keyboards will be cheerfully tolerated...just barely.

Turn it upside down for crumbs.

I use rubbing alcohol to clean the key board.  dilute it abit with water....

Use a q-tip.  If that does not work wrap a paper towel over a pen tip the cap of it.

This is your free pass for the month of November.  Should I find another such joke opportunity such as a sticky keyboard issue in the remainder of the month, I will take full advantage of it.

You can only expect Me to pass up a good zinger one time every thirty days.  After that, My sick sense of humor can not be resisted.

not sure if it might damage your letters or not, but I would use wet wipes, such as anti-bacterial wipes or those wipes to clean glasses...something like that...currently we are supposed to use anti-bac wipes at work before every use due to swine flu panic from employer...so that can't harm the letters then I suppose (I did not test it at work as I disapprove of doing that all the fucking time).

A tooth pick- sewing needle- a pin- and a tissue might get into the crevises.   Or a small nail.   I hesitate to remove the keys as I am not good at putting them back on.

Thanks to all...but Des's link put me on the right track.....and q-tips worked wonderfully (Thanks pahunk)....I consider myself reasonably intelligent but the q-tip option never occurred to me...what an idiot.
And oh yeah special thanks to LP who found the intestinal fortitude to resist what was in reality a golden opportunity to take a shot...lol
