ORIGINAL: pahunkboy Aylee, then I will add you to the list of healthy people who have no trouble eating properly with reasonable RX costs and top rate quality of health. Consider yourself blessed. What do your pills cost for a whole year? People here are so fat the tables and chairs dont fit them. So the grocery store must not sell anything with out HFCS. The Amish plow fields- give blood. People I see could barely walk- and I doubt could even give blood. What pills? I take benedryal for allergies. I think that it is around five dollars a month. I sometimes take ibuprofen for menstraul cramps or sore muscles. That is probably a couple dollars a month. Not really sure, as I buy the REALLY big bottles. I do give blood about every 8 weeks. Eating properly? Most of the time. I cook most of my food. It is not the pre-packaged stuff. Now.. . when I travel for work, it is all restaurant food. However many places have soup or salad bars. While I personally would like to loose a few pounds, I am not overweight. I am in the "green" on the BMI chart and whatever color on the height/weight chart. My cholesterol is fine and so is my blood pressure. I get some sort of excercise most days. Although I have days I do very very little. I walk places if I can instead of driving. I also chase a two year old around. I will agree that a good many Americans do NOT fix their own food, instead they rely on pre-packaged stuff and take-out. But no, it is really not that difficult to eat fairly healthy.
