I guess he’s snapped since he can’t be a Nfl owner, he must have wanted it bad. An Increasingly Unstable Limbaugh Blames Obama for Ft. Hood Shootings On his radio show today Rush Limbaugh blamed the Ft. Hood shooting where 13 soldiers were killed on President Obama. You can't get much lower than exploiting tragedy and death for sensationalism and ratings, but nothing the fatass says surprises me any more.

He said "He didn’t like Americans in Afghanistan or Iraq, and by the way, playing the game the way the media and the Democrats do, we can almost say that this is Obama’s fault, because this guy said that he believed that Obama was going to get us out of Iraq and Afghanistan. Obama hasn’t done it, and that’s one of the reasons why the guy cracked.” A bit different from your thread title, but I guess the truth would not have been half as much fun. It is good to see that Rush is still entertaining the masses.

So by your reasoning, someone who said "The way America treats people in the middle east, we can almost say it was America's fault that the World Trade Center was blown up" or on less political level, "The way that woman was dressed, we could almost say she was asking to be raped" and not be guilty of making a disgusting and untrue statement. Defend Rush as much as you want, the comment he made was low even for him. There is absolutely no way in which the democrats, Obama or the armed forces had anything to do with this act of madness. To suggest otherwise is an out and out lie.

I find it bizzare that people think Rush is just speaking off the cuff and these little bombs he drops aren't scripted to allow them to be parsed into 'no big deal' by his supporters when they try and defend him in public.

Nor have I ever brought charges of racism into a conversation as a tactic. So that is another misunderstanding or lie on your part. What I posted was simply to make the point that passing out blame incorrectly is done in many areas and it is always wrong. It also points out, as your reaction seems to indicate, that saying "one can almost say this" is pretty much the same as saying it, just in a way that the speaker can duck out from under. I used two other ridiculous arguments that have been heard in the past. I would suggest that you point out where I implied in any way that you said those things or believed in them. Otherwise, we can accept this as a mistake or conscious falsehood on your part and move on. The title of this thread seems more than a bit accurate. Rush was passing blame to Obama, the media and the democrats. He just did so in a way that showed he is a coward as well as a fool.

I find it intriguing that the major seems to have entered the us military in 2001 or not to many years prior, and that for the last 9 months (about Obamas taking over) he has been under investigation. Once again, a clear failure incubated in the Bush administration.
