I admit that today I am of the opinion, that being alone on a deserted island would not be a bad thing....

I admit I thought that very often, too...

I admit I lived my own version of hiding myself away from people.
I admit I still fight the urge to retreat, but the world is too beautiful to let the random ugly keep you a self imposed prisoner.

I admit the issue is primarily family oriented, and basically could be rectified with some well placed kicks to the appropriate asses.

I admit I love my family, but I've often threatened to shove my foot up their asses and wear them as slippers.

On a lighter note:

I admit I have solved the North Korea problem....
I admit that the plan may actually be considered crimes against humanity....

I admit phase one involves changing every computer in North Korea to windows 10 premium and removing all fonts and replacing them with Klingon
I admit that phase two is worse, much much worse.....

I admit I just compared WD to frenchmen with one testicle.
I admit I suggested he would have licked Longshank's arse in submission....

I admit I may have just started a war between the Paranoid Paramilitary Gun loving conspiracy theorists of America with an Scotland...

I admit that since they cant get the votes for independence, I feel we have nothing to worry about.

Phoenix: get a caulk gun and several boxes of caulk. Run a bead of caulk along the bottom of all walls, around door jambs and windows. And any other holes you find.
Caulking is a pain but it keeps critters outside the house.

I admit, wicked, that considering your tirades against most of the eccentricities in US culture, your opinions are no where near that of the Scots and Irish that helped found this country, or who were involved in the fight for independence in Texas

I admit that, honestly, that when all your posts are considered, you may be Scot by birth, but your entire being is more like an emasculated man from Sussex, (a comparison made because you sound exactly like a brit ex pat submissive male who lives here in west Texas who's mistress gags him at local events when he starts his tirades against guns, the two party system, and he uses the same terms you do for the current President.)

I admit that I have been tempted to ask him if he is indeed, you.

I admit my brother in law (born in Chechnya) became an American citizen today.
I admit I'm proud of him and very happy for my sister.

Won't that lead to issues over conflicts of interest if Kanye gets the presidency in 2020?

I admit, I'm giving up coffee tomorrow. Awareness gave it up a few months ago. He simply made the decision to do it, did it, and hasn't looked back. I don't even know what that's like. I have to kick and scream about something when I let it go. I've done it before - several times, even, over the past few decades - but lately I've come to love my coffee so much, I'm actually feeling a little nervous. Although, it's the feeling nervous part that is making me give up the coffee in the first place.

Sugar, bread, pasta, dairy....I'm used to not having these things. But coffee?

I had a farewell Starbucks today. ...sigh.

I admit I find Jeffs idea about changing the N.K. computers very intriguing. Would it be also possible to change the sound boards in such a way that no matter what was requested, the massed pipes and drums of the Scots Regiments blasted forth, playing Scotland the Brave, at full volume that couldn't be turned off or down ?

I admit you people have been replaced by pod people, no human can exist without coffee. Coffee is the nectar of the gods.

I admit I'm feeling more comfortable with Hospice. They only show up about once a week, check up on what's happening, and then leave. Other than the one visit we can go out, have a drink at the local watering hole, go shopping. In the past we've had home health care. With them you can only go out to see the doctor, go to church, or shop at the grocery store. Once you can get out and do fun things you no longer qualify for home health care. Plus Hospice has supplied us with all the extra equipment we need, hospital bed, wheel chair, bench chair for shower. Years ago we'd been told that Gary would no longer be able to take his rejection drugs if he started Hospice. That is completely untrue. The only restriction we have now is that we can't call an ambulance to take him to the hospital. Before doing that we'd have to call Hospice and he'd have to sign papers to leave the program. Otherwise medicare wouldn't pay for any hospital visits. So far Hospice has been a good experience. I'm pleased and more relaxed.

WinsomeDefiance -> RE: I Admit It I........ (8/13/2017 8:02:59 AM)

I admit Hospice was an amazing help after my mom's stroke. If it wasn't for Hospice, I don't think I would have been able to keep my promise to her that I wouldn't let her be left in a nursing home.

I admit I'm glad you have that resource, but sad it is needed.
