I was about to start a thread myself concerning the amount of extremely rude and aggressive slaves. Some even ordered me to leave this site after I responded to postings they or their friends made. I totally disagree with that users calling themselves slaves can say what they want as long as one does not own them. I read owners and slaves claiming the slave always has to keep in mind what the owner would think of their outings and the slave should not say things that would discredit the owner, yet I usually notice the opposite. It is rediculous that a slave would even think of publicly questioning the words of a dominant and I would not tolerate this behaviour. The same counts for subs/slaves discussing the sexual drive of her master and/or making fun of their master in these forums.

What's to wonder about, this is an online forum and once a question is asked the OP really has little control on who posts and the final outcome. Such is life in the online world. I read a couple pages of the thread in question. The op got some really respectful and helpful responses from slaves. I think a lot of posters here, of all persuasions, post questions in the forum not because they want another opinion, but because they want validation that they are right. If you already have your answer, don't post your question here.

I am mostly assertive and not aggressive. It doesn't matter if a person is a Dom or a s-type, I will not put them down. I do see this a lot on the message boards, but I do not feel it is all that important to bring it into a topic/subject. There are many rude people in the world, and always have been. I do not submit to others, but I do act with integrity, because I choose too. I also been known to slam duck someone in a very polite way if they feel it is necessary to attack me, yet with that though I seldom do. I do not waste a lot of my energy in responding to people putting others down. It is not something I can change in them. My view is this, yes there are a lot of aggressive people, and people who find it necessary to slam a whole group of people in these message boards. Do i care? No, they are not representing me, nor are a connection to me. I must be responsible for myself. I will not start a topic like this, because to me it just feeds that aggressive energy, and usually tells the posters the OP is aggressive in itself. There is a difference in a Dom who is assertive verses aggressive imho. I prefer the assertive types, and those who do not make blanket judgments. Though i appear new, I am not. I have been here for over a year, maybe two..i don't recall, with many variations of 'oceanwynds'. I have found these boards and the majority of people that post to be caring and genuine. Why, maybe because I treat them with respect. Not everyone will see things how I do, and I find that fantastic. Sorry but I dont want carbon copies of me running around.

In the risk of opening a can of worms, not many submissive types who call themselves slave, really are - legal/moral/historical definitions aside, most of 'em are either yer regular kinksters grabbing a cool label, or subs who are used to actually dictating the terms of their submission and gets pissed when someone tries to actually dominate 'em. Wanna know the stupid thing? If I didn't put some kind of disclaimer here, saying "dear reader, if the above definitions don't sound like you then I wasn't talking about you", every sub/slave/bottom who read it would take offense. Some days I mourn the death of literary comprehension and common sense...
