I can't speak for any one else but I won't have friends that can't be somewhat aware of me being kinky or completely aware, because to me friends know everything about you, or just about everything, and this pervades so much of me and my life and who I am, I refuse to have to keep it hidden from people I consider friends.

Our wedding involved kinky folk, vanilla folk, My redneck vanilla sheltered family, GLBT community members... everyone.
It honestly WAS a little nerve wracking, because we'd never put them all together before, but it was most interesting to see how they all managed to find a point at which they all had common ground... and they did so out of respect for us, which was humbling and rewarding.
Now, our friends and family all know each other.. everyone learned a little something about people that they didn't normally associate with, and we have a harmonious, happy life!
