I wanted to wait to add My two cents for the month until the news was official.  I am a Grand a second time over.  Maddyline Marybeth came into the world today at 6 lbs and 5 ozs.  She is a beautiful little thing.  Anyone who doesn't believe in love at first sight never had a grandchild.

Sorry, I'm not around CM as much as in the past.

I'm very busy with Museum work, my writing, my household.

That all continues.

It looks like my slave and I will be signing to write a non-fiction book about D/s and M/s dynamics in the real world for a fall publication. People have been asking me for years when I'd write a non-fiction book about D/s, M/s and "femdom" and now as I'm in my 20th year doing all of this stuff consciously and purposely, and I've owned him for a decade, well I finally believe I might have something worthwhile to write about.

In other more December specific news: we have our big annual household party on the 13th and I've started cooking for that but both my guys are also doing some cooking, decorating and work.

I submitted a query to try and find a literary agent since I want my books more mainstream and in the public, they will still be "femdom" but I think they deserve a wider audience.

Then I get this email from a university saying they want to interview for a job just as I'd given up emotionally on that.

Greetings and salutations. Much going on - keeping a lot of balls in the air.

Today's trivia: soak wooden mousetraps in liquor (I used orange vodka on some, tequila on others.) Let them dry, set them and catch pesky mice. Empty the trap and re-use it now that it is 'seasoned'. The exterminator wasn't kidding !!

I have to agree with you Lady Pact, in fact I enjoy grandmothering more than parenting...I have 3 grandchildren with a potential new one next year...I am indeed blessed with cuddles, kisses and "I love you so much grandma..like all the sand in the sea, from one and 'all the stars in the sky from the other"


I also appreciate birthday wishes from MoGa.... I have been 49 for 12 minutes now...lol

I agree, being a grandmother is FAAAAAAAAAABULOUS! Next spring I will welcome my 4th into the world. It is a wonderful thing.

And Kevin, I was 41 when my first was born. I've known several women that were in their 30's when they became grandmothers.
