Woooohoooo!!!  You go, girl!!  I'm not weighing myself til Pesach's over.  I feel like I've gained 10 lbs.  This is very bad for me food.  I highly recommend the stairs over going to the gym, however.

Hi all, good work you losers!

VP, if you want chocolate -- HAVE SOME. What i mean is -- hopefully you are more disciplined than i would be but I mean get yourself some kisses or godiva pearl balls. Have A (MEANING ONE) kiss or 2 pearl balls, or a hersey bar broken into blocks that are small.

If you have no discipline to not eat it all, then give them to a friend, co-worker, Man - SO, and state if you ask for one give you ONE and no more.

There are ways to have your chocolate and eat it too. You are doing well, if you are craving then have something. This is all about learning new habits -- have a small amount and use this time to learn how to manage this.

Lol, I know Angel thank you. If you're craving it then your body needs it but it must be done in moderation.................THERE"S THE GLITCH!
I ended up skipping the chocolate yesterday & today for my mid morning snack I had 1/2 packet of powdered chocolate meal replacement & a Kashi choc/peanut butter bar. Now I'm nauseous.....

Now, on the flip side 2 pearl balls sound vaguely kinky yet enticing!

Hey all, one of my biggest vices is cooking when i get home because despite my lil kick of amazing energy for the last couple weeks, so i am always on the look out for easy and quick but also easy clean up dinner options. I am watching Jamie Oliver's food revolution so i thought i would hop on his site and see if there were any quick dishes that looked good. I found this one i thought i would share, its not so much the recipe but the duh factor of how easy something like this can be - you'll see what i mean when you read it:

roasted chicken breast with cherry tomatoes and asparagus
main courses | serves 1
Make this recipe for one in a snug-fitting baking dish or to save on washing-up, a little tinfoil tray.

Preheat the oven to 200°C/400°F/gas 6. Put 1 chicken breast, with its skin left on, in a bowl. Add 8 trimmed sticks of asparagus, 6 halved cherry tomatoes and the leaves from 1 sprig of fresh rosemary plus a whole sprig of rosemary as well. Toss everything together with a pinch of sea salt and freshly ground black pepper and a drizzle of olive oil. Put the veg into a tinfoil tray and place the chicken and rosemary sprig on top. Season well. Add some white wine and cook in the middle of the oven for 25 to 35 minutes. Serve drizzled with balsamic vinegar.

I mean its a bowl, a tinfoil tray, a knife and fork lol. Throw it all together (you can use pretty much any type veggie i am presuming and put it in the oven.

I love anything cooked on the grill for the lack of mess. Tonight I am having marinated lamb tenderloins, vegetable kabobs, and asparagus all cooked on the grill, followed by strawberries with a dipping sauce of fat free sour cream and brown sugar splenda.

Does anyone have suggestions for the 10 pm munchie craving? I've been taking diet pills, but they increased my blood pressure, so now I am struggling, esp late in the evening.

Cereal is the easiest dish I can think of

Did anyone CHEAT yesterday & eat chocolate bunnies & jelly beans (or ANY other type of candy)?

I have classes on Tues & Thurs nights starting this week so will only be able to go to the gym on Wed & Fri's since I'm working on Mon nights.

I can walk 4 miles roundtrip to work on Mon nights but damn I'm going to miss my gym nights on Tues & Thurs!  I did start "Boxing for Fitness" again yesterday w/a video but it's so damn "choreographed" that I found myself doing my own version.
Damn am I sore today!!!

Because Granny's back in the hospital & I can, I went for a Fuddrucker's burger.  I also had chocolate nut brownie macaroons before bed.  I can't wait for Passover to be done so that I can go back to eating real food again.

I just discovered a great treat when you're craving something sweet...

Bananna and dark chocolate... 70 to 85% dark chocolate is good for you and doesn't have many calories and has a very low suger content, it's often too bitter for people, but with the sweetness of the bananna... kills a chochy/sweet craving instantly.

I do love bananas dipped in chocolate. Freeze it for a couple of hours & you have a nice cold treat on a hot day!
